"Absolutely beautiful property! Loved seeing all the historic buildings. We had a late check in and early check out so we unfortunately didn’t meet any of the staff but the property was incredible and very well kept. We were given excellent instructions via text messages on how to do self check in/out. I enjoyed walking my dog early in the morning along the river and around the grounds. Perfect stay if you are traveling with a dog. We will absolutely be back for a longer stay!"

"Front door to my room was filthy how can a hotel allow that...the patio has bees you could not go outside. The hotel should have screens so you can enjoy the view"

"We booked this place as a one-night stop during our trip up through the hill country and we quickly regretted not staying longer! The property is nestled in a really nice, quiet area. They have hiking trails near by (which we love), a little shop on-site and a nice hang-out area. We booked a basic cabin, which had bunk beds and a double bed with only a mini-fridge which was just fine for us. The cabin was really clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a place we are really hoping to get a chance to get back to, once the weather warms up a bit."

"Room was spacious for 4 people for an overnight stay. It was clean and functional. The light in the bathroom was amazing … best I’ve ever seen, almost too bright for the small space. :-) Front desk staff were friendly and competent. Parking was just outside our ground level room and was not overcrowded. Air conditioning was good and not noisy in this room. However there was no microwave oven or ironing facilities. The small fridge worked well. "

"We were a little disappointed and unprepared for the cooking arrangements. There was only 1 plate and 1 fork. It was a little difficult to wash dishes in the bathroom. The secluded area was super nice. This is a neat little place just needs some extra dishes added."
