"Our family with young teens loved our relaxing stay at Le Cerf Blanc. The chalet is gorgeous, well-appointed, and surrounded by peaceful forest. The beds were comfortable, and the living room view was stunning—the perfect spot to read a book and unwind. We enjoyed cooking meals on the BBQ and dining on the deck while soaking in the scenery. The pools, spa, and saunas were a real treat after short hikes on nearby trails. Pont-Rouge is just minutes away and made it easy to pick up groceries. We also visited the nearby golf course, which was beautiful and had a great terrace where we enjoyed a cold beer, including some from local breweries. Everything about the stay was calm, quiet, and rejuvenating. We would definitely stay here again."

"The view alone would be reason enough to stay at this wonderful property, but we also adored the beautiful house, charming village, excellent hiking within a reasonable drive (rivière du chene, rivière gentilly, and the national Parc mauricie), and of course the hot tub. Excellent, we’ll be back!"

"We are frequent VRBO customers. The location was perfect for our purpose, and the home was peaceful with lovely surroundings and large sun-filled rooms. However, it appears to be owned by a company, with no homey touches, and poor management practices. Upon our arrival, there were a couple of issues that needed addressing. For example, the fireplace was not working, the welcome/instruction book was only provided in French and we understood and we understood “important” so we called the Concierge number provided, but no one spoke English and they hung up on us twice. We reached out via “message host” - we received auto-replies pomising to resolve, however, NO help was provided. We used the couch pullout and the carpet needed to be moved, the floors were filthy TV stand, so, we spent the first-hour cleaning and vacuuming. We left the carpet rolled up hopefully a proper cleaning will take place (photos and video were taken to give to the company for their files). Also,the couch bed looks well worn.NOTE: NO shampoo/body wash in showers and NO coffee - bring your own as stores are not convenient if late arrival, like our group. Improve communication, and update the property description indicating NO shampoo, body wash, and coffee are provided so be sure to BRING YOUR OWN (stores are not convenient especially if you arrive late), so, if these slight inconveniences were fixed, we would have no issue recommending this property."
