Genuine best weekend of my life

Beautiful, Clean Room!

I stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! You can't beat it for the price! I especially loved the ocean view and the fireplace. The whole experience was great and I'll definitely come back here!

Beautiful view and proximity to sand

Very minimal room, not too clean, grid and coffee maker do not work. Nice sunset. Pet friendly. Price per night is double the 89 rate due to fees.

As advertised and overall very pleased. Needs a natural exterminator for a stream of little black ants who marched in from sliding door directly to trashcan. Picked up trashcan, killed 40 ants and got bug spray from cleaning crew next morning. Blue blanket needs a good washing. Freezer needs defrosted so food fits. Would happily stay again.

A little disappointed

Plus- $, dog friendly Negative- furniture was literally falling apart, ivy was growing inside sliding door, shower curtain was dirty. No wifi. Won't stay again.

It was unkempt needs to be updated and freshened up and upon arrival to my room which was not what i ordered the door was wide open and it was 7 pm 2 women in a dungeon room and the door was open very scarey we put a overstuffed chair in front of the door for added security

Well.....the building exterior put me on edge,

The hallway areas to the room were dirty, creepy looking. Cleaning lady says there is never anyone onsite. Peak through thru branches to see the ocean, but could hear it. Bed was comfy, but not enough blankets. Bathroom very clean, but no counter space. No carpet, no rugs.

Was horrible room. Damp and musty , woke up sick both mornings. Left a day early. We called at least 7 x with no replies. Not a happy customer at all. Vacasa Costumer service is the worst.

I asked for ground level bc I have a disabled left knee. recently had knee surgery. Verified in writing I had a ground floor. I did not I was given a below ground level room with 2 sections of stairs. I was in tears at the end of all the days I was there related to pain. I had to ask for help from other vacationeers to get my stuff into the hotel as I was unable to do so. I had to argue w/customer service for extra towels as the place did not have enough for 4 days. Not acceptable. I also should have asked for a small kitchenette as this only had a microwave and me and my grandson were there 4 nights and 5 days. My other children rented a room there for 1 night and accommodations were OK. When I called Customer services to change rooms they eventually cancelled my hotel saying they could not accommodate me and my needs. I was furious. I demanded they give me back my hotel and as was unable to find other vacancies on the spot. they did give me back the hotel but there outcome of the problem was not acceptable. I was not given clean sheets, I asked for additional sugar and the CS states we "dont' provide that" I sent in 5 pics of creamer and sugar packs along with copies and the CS states "well come else must have left that. The customer service was horrid. I eventually got extra towels as the place wasn't stocked for the 5 days but that took a lot of texting and arguing with CS also. Overall, my grandson and I made the best of a bad situation but I will never use Vacasa agan

Seahorse motel

The room was neat and clean. Unfortunately the legs on a chair were not even so when I sat down on it, it fell over. The bed end tables were both ready to fall over, plugs were not working, and the fire place did not work. Very disappointed. I left my overnight bag wit my medications under the sink, and am unable to contact anyone!

Get away

Good ocean breeze, view from balcony. The trail to the beach was exilerating. The Inn at Spanish Head was next door and good clam chowder in there restaurant with stunning view.

Brought our 6month old border collie to beach for the first time. We had a blast! Perfect little studio with everything you need. Older place, but very accommodating. We’ll totally be back

Good, simple lodging for extended stays

It was nice and quiet and conveniently close to the beach. It served its purpose for an unplanned extended stay at the coast. Plenty of necessities such as towels, etc. were provided that we didn’t have any reason to contact management or housekeeping at all during our 9 day stay. The place could use a bit more tables though and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Adding a simple tub would be a nice touch too. Unfortunately, there was no internet service but you can’t really ask for too much considering the great deal in price you’re already getting for the room. Just hope that you have a decent reception for your cell phone service and look into bringing your own hotspot if you feel having any internet access is really necessary during your stay. I won’t mind utilizing this service again and would recommend this place to anyone that’s on a budget and is fine with something basic and simple having just the bare necessities.

Great! But...

This place is great! It isn't anything fancy or special, but it's serves its purpose, you have a great view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Pet friendly! I would have given this a 4 or 5-star review, but a few things were wrong that were an indication of the property management - not the property itself. They have a great outdoor pet area, but there was a trash can there that was so full and stinky it made it unbearable to be out there. It was like that for days. Also, the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. There were pistachio shells under the bed, an empty water bottle behind the nightstand, sand on the floor when we first entered the room and thick cobwebs in the bathroom. I understand how coastal hotels are - it's difficult to scrub away the saltwater air that makes everything a little dingy - this wasn't the problem and I fully expected that. This was about the staff not doing their jobs well.

Dirty, broken down, mess and misleading.

Ugh. I’ve never had such a disappointing stay. And it’s nearly impossible to reach hotel management. Broken patio door, broken coffee mugs, mold and a roach in refrig. Dirty microwave. Half the outlets didn’t work, I couldn’t get the gas fireplace lit, the list goes on... VaCasa staff were supportive, and helpful by phone. But I wasted soo much time trying to remedy this. Also, this is NOT a ground floor so be warned! It’s down two flights of stairs off the ground floor parking lot! It feels musty and dank like a basement. And creepy. I’ve never had so many problems with a hotel EVER. But if all you care about is a view, or a nice bathroom. You’ll be fine here. The view is obscured by trees. But you do see ocean.
