"A Treat from the minute you arrive until you check out. Russel went out of his way on the game drives. The place is clean and comfortable. Food was great!"

"The unit itself was clean & functional. What I disliked was I booked a unit with private pool & paid extra yet was unable to utilise the pool as it was very dirty with tissues & debris. The water & surface was also not clean. I did let them know & have followed up with a request for a refund of the extra I paid but no response over one week later….."

"Kapama Southern is amazing! I loved everything about it - the Villa was beautiful, the animals roaming free, the food was delicious, but I especially I loved the people who worked there. Titus and Elliot were an amazing Driver/Tracker duo and made sure we got to see some amazing animals, including a leopard eating in a tree. They were always looking out for me and making sure I had everything I needed to have a great stay. And Nkateko always had my favorite tea at breakfast lunch and dinner. I...

"Amazing lodge in most amazing safari and game reserve park! Very well organized with breakfast lunch and dinner served in between the game drives. The food was super good and the wildlife guides and drivers are amazing! We saw so many wild animals!!! Ecen live chases of lions going for a kill. Hyenas ckeanung up left over carcasses. Incredible scenery"

"Our stay at this property was beyond a dream, our room was quiet, in the middle of nature. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and more. The sunset drive and sunrise walk were amazing, seeing the animals so close was a wonderful experience. Jeremiah was so knowledgeable. The food was great! Can’t say how fantastic our stay here was! "We had no idea what to expect for our two nights and man were we happy with what we found. A safari before and after our safari - the property sits in a reserve!! The hosts are incredible and helpful. Local restaurants were fantastic. Rooms are great - breakfast outstanding - while watching the wildlife! "From arrival to departure we could not have been more pleased in every way. The guides on the drives were outstanding. Brenda, a coordinator could not have been more helpful. The dining room was very nice. The area is suffering an extreme multi year drought, which is causing dire consequences for animals and the landscape, both here and in Kreuger."

"This is a small lodge with only 4 huts, so it's a wonderful experience if you want to escape the Kruger crowds. Accommodations are comfortable and well maintained. Food is amazing; home cooked with a fantastic attention to detail. Owners are friendly and engaging. Highly recommend taking the optional game drive with the owner; you won't regret it. Overall a great value for the money! "
