"Interessantes Haus. Mitten im Ort. Freundliche Leute im Ort. Etwas schwierig die Parkplatzoptionen, zumindest im August. Das Haus in vier Ebenen, dazu viele Stufen. Viel Holz. Gewürze etc in Küche vorhanden, das kommt immer gut an. Gutes Haus zum Entspannen, auch wenn die Böden ziemlich knarren. Nicht geeignet aber für Leute mit Gehproblemen. Ohne Navi schwierig zu finden. Toll der See und die Essmöglichkeiten im Ort. Kein Supermarkt, aber einzelne Hándler verkaufen Brot, Eier, Káse. Das Dorf...

"Superbe semaine au bord du lacBalade en paddle et sentiers tour du lac. Village de Camon. Baignade rafraîchissante. Maison tres spacieuse et avec tout le confort. Hotes très agréables et la creperie tres bonne avec vue sur le lac."

"This is a very cute little property right on the outside of the city walls, abiut 6 minited walk in the side entrance of the city walls. It was recently renovated and very quaint and clean. The 3rd bedroom/2nd full bath are actually in a small out building from the main house which i did not realize but actuallu worked very well for separation. Lovely outside space to site and have a glass of wine! "

"We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. We would definitely come back and stay again."

"Beautiful property in a really good location to visit La Cite and Carcassonne. Easy access to major roads for touring the local area. House was lovely with good facilities. Easy parking available also at the house and nearby."

"No pude disfrutar de la estancia ya que vrbo me dejó reservar añadiendo dos bebés a la capacidad de personas de la reserva que no contaban como persona adulta y el propietario me dijo que si éramos más no me iba a permitir la entrada, así que he perdido la reserva por falta de información entre vrbo y el propietario. No me dejó llevar dos bebés de 1 año que pueden dormir con los padres y en cambio me permitía llevar mascota. No hubo comprensión ninguna por su parte y me dijo que no me cambiaba...

Great location

"Very pleasant Hotel in a prime location on the river next to the old bridge with ready walking access to the old city. 2 nights in a comfortable room with bath and shower. Breakfast was ample with a good range of cold and hot buffet items. Service was excellent with reception staff supportive and helpful. On the critical side, the spacious balcony with good views of river, bridge and old town leaked from above, with tired floring. The spa is separate from the small hotel swimming pool at extra cost with the hot tub and sauna within the spa. No room service for food whilst the restaurant was open and fully booked. Overall, a good stay 8/10"

Great location.

"Great location with a secure car park. The reception staff are very nice. Breakfast is good and the view from the restaurant on the Cite de Carcassonne is fantastic. Very small pool but nice to cool off and relax in after a long journey. Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning."

Hôtel Le Donjon - Coeur de la Cité Médiévale

"Great property! We arrived very late and the hotel manager/staff was more than accommodating to get us from our uber to the hotel. Breakfast in the morning is a bit light but traditional. We had one issue where I showered the first day and was caught in the shower with both an empty large bottle of shampoo and body wash. My husband went to housekeeping and was able to recover it but inconvenient to wait that long and easily avoidable. All minor in the scheme of things. We would recommend this hotel! "

"Everyone was so nice and friendly. Pool was so nice and refreshing since it was practically 100 degrees f. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was easy and very good. We were glad too since up in the Cité there's no AC and all outdoor seating. Rooms very clean! And the included breakfast with the fresh OJ machine is so yummy! Private safe parking with lots of shade a plus too!!"

"I liked: The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony. A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation. A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc) Staff that were nice and helpfull. I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse."
