"A very tranquil setting in the mountains of Isernia. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom fixtures were all in good condition. Unfortunately the design of the shower doors in my room did not allow access to the shower. Whilst most hotel bathrooms in Italy are tight the doors should allow access to wash your body."

"Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology...

"This was a last-minute booking for me, and it ended up being one of the nicest places I stayed at in Italy in 20 years. Campobasso is not necessarily known for its tourism. I was here visiting family and stumbled upon this on Expedia. It’s a converted castle made into a gorgeous B&B. High ceilings, large bedrooms, spectacular and unique artwork and decor.
