This was a convenient bed and breakfast for us being close to the airport. Martín was kind and helpful during our short stay. The accommodations were sufficient for our needs and the breakfast and cute park in front were great additions.

Martin the owner is very welcoming and friendly. He welcomed us with a tasty snack and bottled water which was great. The room is on the upstairs of a house. Beautiful park infront and very easy for uber to find. I would think this place would be much better if it had #1 black out curtains #2 digital locks where I did not have to knock to get in or out. Martin sent us on our way with a delicious breakfast.He allowed us late check out for 50 soles which we apreciated The place has alot of potential.

Great place, amazing host.
A simple, honest B&B, Martin is a great host and looked after us superbly. He sorted us taxis, made us a lovely American omelette and made us feel genuinely welcome. It’s in the a lovely neighbourhood and is really easy to get to the Airport. Highly recommend if you just need a night or two.

We stayed at Royal Sweet Dreams Airport on July 31. The room was in good condition. The house is in a good location and close to the airport. The owner Martin is very helpful. This is why we are returning next week, and we will recommend this B&B to all our friends. Angie & Ken Weber USA

We were so pleased to find this place while we had an overnight layover at Lima’s international airport. The host, Martin, was the reason this stay was exceptional. He worked with us to get transportation to and from his place. He shared stories and food from the area. He made an outstanding breakfast for us in the morning. We were grateful for his thoughtfulness.

What a great place for a quick airport overnight! Martin is amazing- he arranged a taxi to and from the airport and even walked us to a place to eat when we arrived late, had ice cream for us when we came back and had breakfast ready for us at 6am before our flight. Highly recommend this place!!!

Nice overnight layover option
I had a nice stay. Martin was very communicative and organized a taxi from the airport for me. It was great for an overnight layover. I felt safe walking alone at night; I walked maybe half a mile through lovely parks to get to a mall with lots of food options.

Wonderful! A comfy room, hot shower with consistent temperature, wonderful service and a delicious breakfast cooked to order, all for a very affordable price. What more could we ask for? Martin was so kind and made everything easy, arranging a cab to pick us up for our late night arrival, serving us tea and biscuits when we arrived, and getting up at 6am to cook us a delicious breakfast before our departure. The whole experience felt so safe and comfortable - just what we needed for a late night stopover in a new city. I'm so glad I gave this a try rather than booking a chain hotel for way more money.

Martin Desiré to assist to assure a great visit were beyond anything I have ever experienced in any hotel including 5 star hotels with concierge service. His willingness to accommodate my request was like none before experienced. I mentioned my allergies and how I like extra pillows. He offered to go buy new ones for me. I was touched by that gesture. The best host ever. Thank you for everything Félix. If ever in Lima again you are my hotel of choice.

First let me start by saying the host was great. He really tried to you feel comfortable. He even rode with us on a city bus to the market, which was very interesting. The room is actually inside his house. I have never stayed in a place like that. If you are comfortable with staying in someones house, than this place would be good for you. You have to share a bathroom with the other guests. We stayed there because our flight left at 1 o'clock in the morning and we wanted a place to store our luggage and take a nap. We had just flown in from Cusco that morning. Like I said , the host was great and did everything to make you feel comfortable. This place is close to the airport, which makes it convenient for late flights. Overall my experience was good.

Thank you Mr. Jeffery for your nice review this is a B&B like there are many B&B in the US , I lived in a little town in Lowell Indiana for 20 years working very Hard and learned about how to work very good , and learned to be honest and finish your Job done on time and learned how to treat customer right and with respect , when you came you dont share the bathroom with nobody its always clean because I always clean after a guest left and we always treat every guest like a family and we always try to make every guest feel good with us and with respect , we are honest and decente People we live in front of a nice Park with security , there are cámeras and good lights at night , we always make delicious breakfast you miss and always in life there is first time for everything like you said and Overall your experience Was good , thank you.

Martin was a fabulous host! His home was beautifully situated near the airport and across from a park. It was very safe and comfortable. He contacted me to check if I needed the shuttle service and was very accommodating when my bus arrived late. He lives on the first level of the home with his mother and brother. The second level was open and private for me since i was the only one staying there. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. In the morning, Martin brought me the most delicious breakfast i had had in Peru! As a single, female traveler, i highly recommend to stay with Martin!

Love the place
Returned to stay six nights in February 2020 because of a very positive experience at the B&B in 2018. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. There's plenty of shopping and eats within a short walking distance. The best feature is Martin, the friendly proprietor. He always goes all the way to make your plans in Lima work without issues. Very highly recommend the B&B for one night or an extended stay.

two days in Royal Suites
I stayed in Martin's place for two days in October. Martin is a very kind and caring host. He met me at the entrance, helped with my luggage, explained in details everything about the unit, asked about my preferences for breakfast and prepared a lovely morning meal, just as I was asking about. The place is very spacious, in a residential part of the district, safe and quiet area, a large grocery store is in 10 minutes walking distance. Martin was very kind to walk me to the supermarket and show around, his English is near perfect. Overall, I am happy with the accommodation. There is no cultural attraction around, but I had a great sleep.

Bad enough we checked out and did not stay there.the manager/ owner was very gracious, and got a taxi for us to another hotel. Prearranged airport pickup did not happen. We paid the manager for his trouble and kindness. In general, the area is so unsafe, you can't even get a pizza delivery there- too dangerous.

Martin was incredibly friendly and amenable with our requests and questions. He had recommendations for dinner and gave clear directions of where to go. Convenient for airport, public transport, food etc
This was our third stay at Martin's b+b and it was as good as the others. Martin brings your cooked-to-order breakfast upstairs to your dining table at the time requested, and also sometimes pops up with other treats as well! Martin can arrange airport transfers at a discount to the standard cost, and if you want to visit somewhere in Lima, he will even take you to the bus stop and put you on the bus! Decent WiFi signal. We are looking forward to returning here in March.

Nice B+B in a great location.
This is our second stay at Martin's b+b. This time we had a double room on the first floor with an en-suite bathroom. Once again, everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful park just across the street from the b+b, and a large variety of places to eat within a very short walk. There are at least four ATMs within a couple of minutes walk (Scotiabank adds charges, BCP does not). Martin, the host, is very friendly and helpful throughout. We are already looking forward to our next stay here.

Great value B+B, not far from Lima airport.
We stayed in the second floor room, which is basically an apartment without a kitchen. It was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower was great and we really enjoyed our breakfasts. Martin is incredibly helpful at every stage of the booking process and throughout the stay. We are looking forward to returning very soon.

Martin was very helpful and insightful about the town! He helped us print boarding passes as well as book train tickets. His location is optimal for taking a nice walk or short bus ride to see the sites. His building is under construction, though that did not get in the way. Instead he was happy to show us his ideas on what he is planning on doing, and must I say he has a great idea in mind. Super clean. To top it off he sent us off with traditional Peruvian cookies that were delectable! Next time in Lima we will stay again.

Martin is an amazing host! He is honest and hard working and opens his private home to guests. He and his family live there on the ground floor. His communication before the trip was excellent which was very much appreciated. He arranged a taxi for us from and to the airport which was quite reliable and responsibly priced. He showed us around the neighborhood a bit and gave us advice on where to go. Most importantly, he talked with us in a way that showed he cared and shared a little Peruvian culture with us.

The host Martin was exceptionally helpful from the start, messaging us the day beforehand regarding arrival info and helping set up a taxi from the airport. The space itself is very nice, and Martin keeps it exceptionally clean. It's close to the airport, and although you hear the occasional airplane coming and going, the neighborhood is pleasant and quiet. Martin was helpful throughout our stay and fed us well, even giving us a couple sweets for our return home. We would highly recommend for anyone to stay with him!

This is a gem of a place. The owner made sure there was a taxi waiting for us when we arrived at 2:00 a.m. He had waited because our flight was a little late. He took us promptly to the b&b. The charge for this was about $15.00. The owner was up greeted us and took us to our room. It was extremely clean and well kept even though it was old. The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise from outside. The bathroom was great; it had a large shower with nice hot water. We had a view of a small park from the window of our room. The next morning we had a lovely ham and cheese omelet with bread, coffee, and juice. When we needed to leave the same taxi came and we returned to the airport. This cost about $10.00 as it was in the daytime. The hotel owner also gave us some lovely cookies for our trip. This B & B is also the owners home so there is a comfortable family atmosphere about it. I would give it 5 stars. It was a great stay. I would definitely stay again.

The property was across the street from a park with not a lot of traffic and was close walking distance to shopping and restaurants. the price was great and since we had an early morning flight we didnt need anything fancy - just close to airport. The host (Martin) was very eager to please and helpful with our bags. He walked through the place with us and showed us our rooms (we traveled with a second couple) and bathroom. He asked if he could assist us with getting a taxi when heading out for dinner. There as a taxi there ready to leave so he said we could just hop in for the 4 block ride (for free). I recommend this B+B as it is clean and comfortable. Martin booked our early morning taxi the night before and asked what we wanted for breakfast. He was up early to prepare our breakfast for 6am.

The best place to stay in Lima, especially for international travelers. Martin arranged for everything we needed. He had a friendly driver waiting with our name on a sign for our late-night transportation from the airport. Our next flight the following day wasn't until 3:30 pm so he let us stay at his place all day and the same friendly driver took us back to the airport. The breakfast was excellent, he had bottled water for us, everything was clean and the neighborhood was quiet at night. No mold, no funny smells, hot showers. I absolutely would return and highly recommend his B&B to anyone needing a place to stay in Lima!

DO NOT STAY HERE
This isn’t a hotel, it’s the second floor of an incomplete house. You don’t get your own keys to your apartment, the owner has to let you in and out... so expect to feel like an inconvenience the entire time if you decide to go out and explore the city or leave for any reason at all. The owner walked in unannounced to our apartment twice, so there was no privacy. Upon booking, I paid ahead... upon check-out, the owner said we had to pay in person and that he only ever accepts cash. Even though we told him we paid online, he said this was impossible because he only accepts cash, so I basically got charged twice. He forced us to go to an ATM to take out more cash to pay him. Additionally, we coordinated to get picked up and taken to the airport at 8. For whatever reason, he had the taxi driver come to pick us up a half hour early, and the owner stayed in our apartment until we were done packing and ready to go... so we were basically being supervised while we showered and packed, and we were rushed. This was a terrible stay.

Ms. Elizabeth Edmonds first its all before you come here to this B&B you ask me for booking 1 more night for you when you arrive with your husband you agree to stay in the floor I gave you and you told me you we are going to pay me in cash for 2 nights everything go well you got a nice breakfast and by noon you went to explore the city with your husband then when you comeback about 5:00 pm I told you Im going to comeback about 7:30 pm to take the luggage down and then you can pay me the 2 nights you agree and you dont even say nothing we already pay you 1 night online then when I come back 7:30 pm I knock the door and your husband told me we are not ready yet when I told you than I comeback to take down your luggage at 7:30 pm and when I told your husband to pay me , he was like surprise when I told him if he can pay me for 2 nights he told me we are going to pay you for 1 night after that you call Hotels.com and told you Hotels.com Dont Charge You Any Money to Your Credit Card after your husband pay me for the 2 nights he told me very clear Hotels.com Dont Charge Us Nothing , your husband who is a reasonable person understand but Not you , you just keep write me the same bad review every where you can thats talk about you what a person you are , after even show you at the booking said Hotels Collect money from guest on arrival , here in this B&B I have the experience two work hard for 20 years in United States of America the live experience teach me to be a honest person if you do everything right you will get good things in live in here we are honest, decent persons we dont fool nobody and we expect the same from guest we take good care of every guest and 99% of our guests got a good experience with us but there are good and bad people every where and probably you are happy tto hurt honest and decent people like us.

A quality experience!
My girlfriend and I stayed at Sweet Dreams as a stopover on our return to Canada from the|Cusco region. We were very impressed by the owner's attention to detail and how he suggested and managed airport transportation - pick up and drop off; communications and many aspects of our stay. He was organized, polite, respectful, and caring for our safety and the timeliness of being at the airport on time, because traffic was very heavy. We left at 3:30 am and he handed us some cakes that a friend had made. I would highly recommend this particular B &B, which was clean and private.

Perfect for overnight near the airport
Very convenient and close to the airport. Martin arranged a taxi to pick us up from and deliver us to the airport for our short stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the breakfast was delicious and large. We even got a big bottle of water. It was exactly what we wanted and needed.

We had a great experience here. He was very accommodating and let us check-in early. He helped arrange taxis and even gave us some snacks for the road. Highly recommend for a stay in Lima!

Nice B&B close to the airport
Clean, tidy, lovely family, nice breakfast, warm shower! Good place for an over night layover.

Like being home with family!
Martin Rodriguez was a wonderful host. He helped me navigate public transportation and helped with anything I needed. The breakfast was wonderful and everything was clean and comfortable. I felt like one of the family by the time I left after 5 days and definitely will go back to see them again.

Great place to get some rest before early flight
Our host was phenomenal. We (two non Spanish speaking female travelers) were only there for a few hours but we can’t say enough nice things about Martin. Our flight arrived really late and we were planning on getting a SIM card at the airport to use internet but the were out of them so we just hoped everything worked out as it was preplanned. And it did. When we got off the plane, the taxi driver, who was arrange to pick us up by our host, had a nice big sign with our name on it and was there earlier than scheduled. Manuel our taxi driver was awesome too. He took us straight to the air B&B and was willing to come back and get us at 4:30am to take us back to the airport. Martin our host was there to greet us at midnight and also woke up a 4:15 am to see us off. He had bottled water and fresh towels for us when we got there and offered us the internet and the option for him to make us breakfast in the morning (at 4am!). He seems like a very hard working host and was super friendly and very hospitable. We felt like part of the family staying with him. His mom and brother also live there and they were very nice too. The place was clean and all of the pictures on the reviews were very accurate. I would recommend this place to anyone and we felt very safe the entire time.

Martin is a super nice guy. He arranged transportation with his friend Manuel for only a little more than UBER. A nice thing for our 0345 morning departure. Martin got up in the night to make us a sandwich and coffee. Close to the airport and very efficient way to arrive or depart. Affordable and pleasant. I'll stay here again. Thanks Martin!

Awesome B&B in a nice neighborhood.
Innkeeper Martin is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Hot shower, comfortable bed and good WiFi. The location is across the street from a lovely 2-acre park. Very highly recommended.

Great B&B located very close to the airport
This Bed & Breakfast is located about 10 minutes from the airport in Lima, about as close as you can get. The neighborhood is safe and pleasant. We stayed just for a night at Martin's house (the upstairs is the guest area) and it was a relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable. Martin made us an amazing (and BIG) breakfast in the morning before our plane departed. We would highly recommend booking with Martin. Remember that you need to pay in cash; there is a bank very close to the house in case you don't have any on hand. If you need transportation, Martin is able to arrange that for you and it is very convenient. Thanks Martin for everything!

I stayed just one night as I was traveling on to another location in Peru. My host organised a taxi from the airport when I arrived and to return the next day. I had a nice nice breakfast in the morning with good coffee. The room was simple, clean and perfect for a overnight stay. If I was to return to Lima I would stay there again.The host was in contact with me before my trip to let me know that everything had been organized, that was great as this was my first trip to Lima and Peru.

Host extremely keen to help with everything. Sorted transfer to and from the airport. Wifi sucked in the room I had (a shared bathroom one). Can be tricky to find as it is a family home with no signage outside

Great host
Was more of a B&B than hotel for sure but our host Martin was very kind. We were able to check in very late as our flight came in at around 2am. Breakfast was simple but enough and is catered around your schedule.
