Great location.
Clean but rundown. Breakfast was very basic- coffee, juice and cold croissant.
Super hard bed and pillows. No hot water in the shower. Very difficult to flush the toilet. No air conditioning. No hair dryer. TV didn't work. Plugs kept falling out of wall sockets.
Really enjoyed the hotel. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and very central. Little noisy from the street but that didn't bother us.

Good location but nothing else
I was not expecting much, after reading other reviews but I was hoping that at least service will be good. Prior to my arrival in Lima I asked for a taxi pick up from the airport but taxi never showed up. Next I requested taxi for 3am due to early bus departure. Advance order for the taxi was never made and I had to go through frantic call to get the taxi and land up getting taxi of the street. I made the bus only due to driver skills and not organisational skills of the hotel staff.

Fading grandeur in great location
Fine traditional old hotel in a great location for seeing Central Lima and the key squares and churches. Hotel was obviously grand in its day but is now fading.
