"I give this hotel 5 stars. It's not a 5-star hotel in the official hotel rating system. Not really. But it's a great place to stay on your way to somewhere else. I enjoyed it and I will be back. Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. The check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, functional, with enough space not to feel crowded. The breakfast was nice (continental). It's kid-friendly. Plenty of food options a short walk away. A lovely place overall."

"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. Stay away! Nice area, but not...

"It was OK, fine for the price. It was clean and comfortable and well placed behind the Grand Place. We had no WIFI (apparently they were doing work on the network), mini bar empty, one small bottle of water between 3 of us but forgotten to supply on our last night - fortunately the tap water tasted fine. Telly channels were only in French. We didn’t have breakfast as we thought it was rather pricey with children in tow. "
