L hôtel se trouve dans une rue très bruyante à côté de la gare. Bien situé pour Lille mais la rue est rempli de fast food. La chambre était correcte. La douche fonctionnait bien et le savon agréable. L'accueil était blasé mais plus agréable le lendemain matin. La réception manqué de lumière et de couleur pour être plus accueillante et moins "hôtel à côté de la gare" Bon rapport qualité prix malgré tout.

Basic and rather small, but then very much cheaper than other nearby locations. get what you pay for. Very good location in the centre of Lille. If I was going again, but pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.

Not three star accommodation.
Rooms very small. No drawers for unpacking, therefore lived out of suitcases. Basin in bathroom cracked. Bath chipped. Bath towels more like hand towels. No hand towels. Did not opt for breakfast. Dining was in the reception area!!! Overall poor. Would not stay there again!

To avoid!
The room was way too hot in comparison to the outside weather... We couldn't sleep at all plus we had a lot of mosquitos in the room and I'm allergic! The breakfast was medium (the coffee just awful!!). Thankfully the personnel was nice and the local area of the hotel very practical but that's all.

Overall average hotel in a good location. One room had the toilet on the opposite side of the room to the bath and sink, there was also no plug in the bath. Emailed hotel prior to visit to ask advise on restaurants, did not get a response.

Not the hotel for us.
We didn’t stay more than 10 minutes. The room was tiny, grotty and unbearably hot. There was a warning not to open the window due to mosquitoes. The surrounding area in daylight looked exceedingly risky with several unsavoury looking people about. Fortunately there was free internet so we found another hotel quickly. We lost the money as we pre paid. Something we were prepared to do rather than stay. Happy to say the worst room I have never stayed in.

Nice hotel perfect location
Nice hotel with parking tho bit expensive.nice room very good size with good facilities and kettle was a bonus.hotel was perfect location near grand place which had good eating places and nice bars to sit out .just perfect last night stop before ferry home.

Room 22 was very small. The bathroom basin had cracked glaze and there were stains, caused I think by cigarettes, on the rim. The room was quiet, away from the lift but was accessed by a short flight of stairs. (as was room21). This was not very convenient for a mature couple with bulky luggage. The cost of the room overall with booking fees and local charges and breakfast was far from value for money. We would not stay there again.

Drab & depressing, small room. Inefficient lighting made reading very difficult Wrinkled carpet ( looks like upholstery fabric ??) Located in unpleasant & grubby street Soap dispensers riculously annoying particularly in shower ; dispenses minuscule amount of soap. Clearly hotel begrudges providing this to guests Bathroom sink “nasty” as very badly scratched Only two tiny milk portions ( need 2 x for my one coffee) provided. A silly & mean gesture that impacted my stay/opinion of the hotel. Overall opinion is hotel wishes to provide absolutely minimal comforts for guests. POSITIVE POINTS:- Clean linen & towels Convenient location to train Okay for one night. Would recommend you look for something better if you are staying longer.

It is a nice hotel with great staff. Being close to the train station however convenient, can sometimes be less than a desirable location. In our case a brawl broke out in the middle of the night resulting in the police becoming involved

Central and comfy but noisy!
The hotel was fine (small but functional room - even had a kettle) but we did not sleep well due to the noise all night on nearby streets. May have been due to it being Lille Braderie weekend.

Ideal for a one night stopover
This is a good hotel for a short stay. Was disappointed to find paper cups for use with hospitality tray. Buffet breakfast was very good.

Clean, comfortable and well located
Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff. We came for a weekend for the Christmas markets and were only 5 mins walk from the festivities :) front desk staff were really lovely and the room was cosy and clean. No complaints at all!

A very nice centrally located hotel. Very good location for sightseeing. 10 minutes on foot to Lille Europe train station. Quiet clean room, instant coffee and milk capsules replaced every day.

1 night in Lille
Perfect for a quick overnight stop before catching an onward early morning train. I had read mixed reviews and travelling with my elderly mother I had some concerns but the hotel more than excedded my expectations. For an overnight stop it is everything one would need.

Excellent location - very close to the centre
Hotel staff were fabulous - always willing to help with queries or restaurant recommendations. Rooms were of a good standard - there were a couple of issues with a light bulb not working and the heater not working, but nothing that ruined the stay. Breakfast was very reasonable for €10 and there was always tables available. Location of the hotel was brilliant - very short walk to the centre.

I thought this was a brilliantly located, well priced hotel. I would stay here again. Only downside for me was the area was a little shady. Illicit shops nearby and a few shady characters loitering.

Perfect value for the modest money
First thing first, we were stunned to discover how actually close the hotel was to the Lille Europe Eurostar train station. 5 minutes at the most. The hotel is undergoing the final refurbishment stage where accessories are added etc, but it looks great already, very modern and at the same time cozy. The reception is manned at all times, the staff are extremely efficient but non-english speaking. or maybe they do speak english there - i just didn't try english as I can speak a decent french myself. We asked them for things like city maps, additional cutlery etc, we even requested a cork screw which they didn't have but went and fetched for us at a hotel next door. The location is fab - 3 min away from Place de General de Gaulle and the Opera House; within a walking distance from major shopping streets. We are definitely coming back to it if in Lille again.
