"The Gite served as a base for our exploration of the Arras region. The village is lovely with a lot of history - please try the fare at the local bakery. The Gite itself is small with 3 bedrooms but with potential to sleep 6. Having this number stay would perhaps be problematic with regard to the sitting room which, although comfortable, is small (but more than adequate for our stay). We have given feedback to the owner that there would be benefit in providing a list of local services - shops,...

"Un accueil très chaleureux. Des contacts en amonts avec le propriétaire qui nous a donné toutes les indications nécessaires pour arriver.Un parking sécurisé à l’intérieur de la propriété composée d’un grand et joli parc intimiste aménagé avec de nombreux petits recoins.Un logement grand , très agréable, super bien équipé.Au frais dans le frigo nous attendait une bouteille de crémant, du coca, de l’eau,..Une machine à café avec des dosettes et du sucre.Des produits d’hygiène fabriqués...

The booking form did not make clear the accommodation was a tent. and did not include such basics as towels, Pillows, bedding etc. We were offered a wooden building fully equipped apart from the above. In view of the uncertainty of finding alternative we reluctantly accepted and improvised despite my age (86). Nächster Ort Pernes. ca. 10 Autominuten, etwa 1500 Einwohner, aber 2 tolle Bäcker, 2 Schlacher, kleiner Gemüseladen mit toller Käseauswahl, Bank..............Wem das nicht reicht, fährt noch etwa 10 Minuten mehr nach ST. Pol oder Auchel. Das Haus ist sehr groß. Kleine Kritken, meckern auf hohen Niveau, die Windmühlen in der Gegend, passen nicht so sehr in die schöne Landschaft und sind auch immer ein wenig zu hören. Lovely Former Bakery In The Seven Valleys

"The location of this property was fantastic, the village was so lovely and there was a celebration the day we were there, even with fireworks! The bedrooms worked very well for the number of people we had there - there were 10 adults, one teenager and a baby and the sitting space was also great for a large number. The garden was very private and we enjoyed a lovely meal outside. There was plenty of plates, glasses etc for everyone. We would definitely use the house again and then less than an hour to the port."

"A warm welcome. A pretty room with very comfortable bed, kettle and TV. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower and double jacuzzi bath. Parking right outside. Great location for Montreuil, Valloires Abbey, and the huge sandy beach at Berck. I was in the main house, but Elise also has another property just down the street. Breakfast at main house though. (Not sure this was clear online.) Bistro in village open Friday and Saturday but plenty of places to eat in Montreuil which is a 15minute drive."

"Really lovely property in the countryside with a private pool. It had a huge garden where the children could run around. Hosts were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Breakfast is an extra but a great treat as you don’t have to think about things. Beaches only 30 mins away with beautiful soft golden sand. Kids loved the house cats. "
