Fantastic find.

Fantastic place! Big, comfortable room and large shower room with separate toilet. Very clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was set out for me, nice fresh bread and croissants, jam, yoghurt, strawberries and more. Exceptionally good value, less than an hour from the Eurotunnel.

A fantastic room in a stunning building in a typically beautiful French village. The room was possibly one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Alex and Elise were fantastic hosts. They also owned the restaurant downstairs which served great food. The village has a bakery, supermarket, petrol station, cafe, pharmacy, bank, restaurant and a beautiful church. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

A warm welcome. A pretty room with very comfortable bed, kettle and TV. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower and double jacuzzi bath. Parking right outside. Great location for Montreuil, Valloires Abbey, and the huge sandy beach at Berck. I was in the main house, but Elise also has another property just down the street. Breakfast at main house though. (Not sure this was clear online.) Bistro in village open Friday and Saturday but plenty of places to eat in Montreuil which is a 15minute drive.

Very welcoming. Beautiful room, very clean. Delicious French breakfast , with croissant, jams, cheeses and yoghurts. Our host could not have been more friendly. My wife and I have no reservations in recommending this B&B. We would happily use again in the future. Thankyou Elise and Alexandre.

Our Second Stay Was Just as Good!

Great find! Happy with this B&B before so stayed a second time. Not disappointed. Very clean and nicely appointed rooms. Lovely breakfast with bread, pastries, homemade jams and homemade apple juice, coffee and yoghurts.

Lovely Stay

Delightful stay. Slight but understandable mix-up at beginning which Elise and Alexandre more than rectified. Room was beautiful and very clean. No meat or cheese for breakfast but this was made up for with home-made jams and home-made apple juice. Croissants, pain au chocolat, lovely bread and great cup of coffee.

Le petit déjeuner était particulièrement copieux, avec un large choix de produits : fruits frais, tartes au sucre, viennoiseries, pain, brioche, yaourts, fromages, jambon, et surtout de délicieuses confitures maison, dont une surprenante et raffinée aux pétales de rose.

A deux pas du Marquenterre, mieux que l'hôtel

Très belle chambre joliment aménagée et cosy, bonne literie, très propre. Très belle salle de bains. Accueil chaleureux, excellent et copieux petit déjeuner avec confitures et gâteaux maisons, pains au feu de bois, viennoiseries. Bien situé au calme dans les terres à 30 minutes de Fort-Mahon ou du Touquet.

Une nuit convenable et propre. Petit bémol, le jardin est accessible dans une residence annexe à 100m de la. l'hotesse nous a gentillement proposé de demander l'accès au mari et je la remercie mais je ne trouve pas ça pratique de mon point de vue. La chambre m'a perturbé personnellement (beaucoup trop chargée à mon gout, il y en avait de partout. Et ne correspond donc pas aux photos postés sur le site. Je chipote un peu mais bon, le sejour etait donc agreable mais pas parfait comme j'ai pu lire dans les commentaires.. :)

No late check in service

After 30 years of using Hotels this was a first. I generally dont re the check-in instructions till i check in... Turns out that unless you arrive during their working day you need to make special arrangements Not open miles from anywhere 11pm and no one around to assist!!! NOT A GOOD START!

Poor quality of B&B and service

Worse B&B we’ve stayed at. Very difficult to contact B&B in advance as required for check-in arrangements. Communications very poor and misleading as it was suggested that room waS on first floor when in fact it was higher into the roof eves. Access by winding stairs was perilous as hand rails did not exist. Suitcases could not be brought in for this reason. Room was noisy because of local church, farmyard noises most of night and internal electrical buzzing sounds. Breakfast was virtually non-existent and insufficient with 3 couples seated at the same time: we only had 2 pieces of baguettes and limited jam. Only 4 small pots of yoghurts between 6 people. No cereals. Not a welcoming accommodation and one to which we will not be returning or recommending.

Très belle B&B dans une village calme

Très belle B&B dans une village calme. Lit confortable, baignoir immense, petit déjeuner copieux, un endroit parfait pour se fuir de la vie quotidienne. Elise et Alexandre (et leur 2 chiens) sont très gentils avec beaucoup de conseils pour découvrir la région.
