I have stayed here before when my husband was alive. I stayed here last week as my daughter had her wedding in Lichfield. The rooms are clean and we had two fans, which were needed last week as it was mega hot. The staff are always nice and friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, as was the evening meal. The only downside is you have to pay for parking overnight. All in all though, I would definitely go back in the future.

An excellent hotel. The service and facilities are excellent, with good food at reasonable prices. The building itself is old, so don't expect spacious rooms, but they are well organised, fresh and inviting. My only issue was with the bathroom, which was tidy and the shower cubicle was more suited to a caravan in size terms; I could barely get in and out though the narrow opening. But I've stayed there many times over the years and found the service and catering overcome any shortfalls.

Located in centre of town, ideal for visiting the cathedral, food was fine, with buffet breakfast which suited us. Bedroom and bathroom were both clean and a comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep.

Lovely hotel, clean, good staff and excellent breakfast. The location could not be better except for the bar across the road which played music until 2.00am, although the staff in the hotel were very good and gave us some earplugs.
