Overlooking the majestic lake scenery, this house – recently and tastefully renovated to modern standards – offers generous spaces and large sliding pocket windows in every room. These fully retractable glass panels disappear into the walls to blend the indoor and outdoor spaces, removing any visual barrier in both summer and winter.

As soon as you enter, the high-end contemporary kitchen, featuring a central island and fully equipped, opens onto a vast 46m² dining and living area with designer furniture, a smart TV and high-speed internet – ideal for socialising. The five large pocket-door windows in the living area slide away to open onto two terraces: on the lake side, onto a magnificent 26m² balcony-terrace; and on the pine forest side, onto another 75m² terrace featuring a complete outdoor seating area in solid teak and a large dining table suitable for a large family. You’ll be charmed by the spaciousness and the floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the incredible natural diversity of the Salagou and Mourèze area.

The highlight is the vast 78m² roof terrace, featuring a pergola, a dining table, an outdoor seating area and a fully equipped, enclosed contemporary summer kitchen. The view of the lake from here is sublime.

The three bedrooms on the garden level, set against the mountainside, are kept cool by a natural geothermal system, even during heatwaves. All bedrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering exceptional views of the lake.

A fourth master bedroom, with lake views, is situated on the ground floor with direct access to a magnificent bathroom and a 26 m² balcony.

The two bathrooms (walk-in shower and large bath on the ground floor, and a walk-in shower on the first floor) are luxurious wet rooms, true oases of serenity. The separate utility room features a large-capacity washing machine and tumble dryer and is equipped with an iron and an ironing board.

In total, the Le Foux Nord house offers four furnished terraces made of travertine and exotic wood, totalling over 220 m², which are veritable panoramic esplanades set amidst the exceptional natural surroundings of the Lac du site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The house has direct access to the lakeside, less than 500 metres away. Set off from the house on foot, by mountain bike or on a road bike to access the many hiking and mountain-biking trails less than 200 metres away, or cycle routes suitable for all levels.

The shops in Clermont-l’Hérault are a 12-minute drive away. Visit the weekly market in Lodève on Saturday mornings and the one in Clermont-l’Hérault (one of the oldest markets in France) on Wednesday mornings.
