The space
A little over 6 miles from Lexington, VMI and W&L. 1 mile from I-64 Exit 50. Just one exit past the Virginia Horse Center. 4.5 miles to House Mountain Inn/Irvine Estate and 1 mile from Big Spring Farm wedding venue. Giant graveled parking area with room for trucks w/ trailers. Great location to visit Goshen Pass for water sports and fishing; House Mountain, Alleghany and Blue Ridge Mountains for hiking; also Shenandoah National Park and Natural Bridge State Park. Don't miss Hulls Drive-In or the Safari Park! There is always something to do in Lexington!

Other things to note
Our extended family enjoyed turning the original Lane House into clean, comfortable place to stay for our guests over the last few years. This winter we have took a big step and moved Lane House a few miles down the road to more modern property with lots of room for parking large vehicles, more power outlets in each room, and faster high speed internet. New property, same great customer service! When guests are not here - we are always improving with big dreams for future renovations! Generally improvements are small and gradual - everything put away in a closet when guests arrive. Yet always a work in progress. We hope you will enjoy your time with family and friends at Lane House.
