Great stay for a corporate group

The location and layout of this space was perfect for our group. It allowed for all of us to be together and have our own communal spaces while still giving every person their own personal space. The location was perfect for walking downtown Lexington to restaurants, etc.

Beautiful place in Versailles

We rented all of the suites at the Woodford Hotel for a birthday celebration. The rooms are perfected decorated, each with a different bourbon theme. The event gathering space is wonderful for large groups. Versailles is such a cute place with many walkable places to enjoy and so close to the bourbon trail and Keeneland. Our group can’t wait to come back!

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Versailles

Our family had the unique opportunity to book a weekend stay at The Woodford, a quaint boutique hotel in downtown Versailles, KY — and it far exceeded our expectations. The photos online didn’t do the suites justice. They were even more spacious, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable in person.To our surprise, we ended up booking the entire hotel! We had both the 2nd and 3rd floors to ourselves, along with access to the stunning event space on Saturday. Each suite featured a cozy living room, most had full kitchens, and the bathrooms were remarkably roomy — a true luxury for a boutique stay.We were in town for a college graduation, and The Woodford was the cherry on top of a special weekend. Every detail in each suite felt intentional and elevated. The host was gracious, responsive, and made sure everything was seamless.This was more than a place to stay — it was a space for our family to connect, relax, and celebrate. We’ll be talking about The Woodford for years to come. Highly recommended!

Magical Christmas in Versailles, KY

We recently booked the entire hotel for a family Christmas getaway, and it was absolutely perfect! Set in beautiful Versailles, just a short drive from Lexington, the hotel truly felt like something out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. With 20 adults and several little ones, we had the most special time, thanks to the charming and well-appointed accommodations.Each room was beautifully decorated, making it feel like a cozy winter retreat. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable—there wasn’t a single thing we could have wished for. The hosts were incredibly responsive, answering every question we had with warmth and attention to detail.The first-floor gathering area was perfect for us to all come together. We shared meals, played games, and enjoyed each other's company in a space that was both spacious and inviting. Fantastic Experience

A group of 22 friends, family, and kids stayed at the Woodford Hotel, and we had an amazing time. This property is fantastic, and the owners are very accommodating as well. We will definitely stay in this unique property again.

Fabulous accommodations for large groups.

The property was spectacular! Every room was fully equipped, comfortable and cozy. The rooms were decorated with the eye of a historian and designer. We had a large group of family that ranged from small children, teens and older adults with stair challenges. The elevator was a game changer. The city square had so much to do that even the kids were excited to explore. The town's residence were welcoming and willing to stop and chat. The outdoor courtyard gave us the chance to cookout and share a meal together with the group. Breakfast on Sunday at Spark was also another highlight of the trip. We are already planning our next visit back to this lovely little gem of a city. Love, Love, Love this place!
