"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The cabin was very clean and looked as advertised. We did some paddleboarding in the lake. This location is close enough to 'touristy' stuff but far enough away to view deer in the yard! Great experience!"

"Accommodations were wonderful and a perfect fit for our large family. We wanted a long weekend on the lake with a house that could fit all 7 of us comfortably and this was the spot. The layout of the house was ideal with the master bedroom upstairs and the other bedrooms downstairs. The kids were able to stay up late and play pool & enjoy the theater room long into the night. While the adults enjoyed the screened in porch and quiet evening.The road to get to the house is gravel. We were fine in a 4x4 wheel drive vehicle but would be cautious if driving anything else.You can also drive down to a boat launch and fish at the end of the gravel road.Overall, great place to stay. "This was the perfect mountain and lake getaway! Two families 5 teenagers and the house size was just what we needed. The game room and hot tub was used every day by the teens and the outdoor swings are a great way to end your day. There was so much to enjoy just walking through the house looking at all the decorations. We had no issues parking 3 large vehicles. There is a non paved road that takes you to the boat dock, yes it’s on a hill but we expected that coming to the mountains. We utilized one of our trucks to Uber us from the dock to the house as needed. The dock is large enough for everyone to spread out and relax. We packed coolers for the day so there was no reason to go back up to the house till evening time. We did rent a boat for most the week and jet skis on a day. The dock set up was very easy to park everything. The was the most beautiful lake we had ever been too and it wasn’t busy! Most of the lake is not developed so if you’re looking for a quiet lake this is it! Also, if you’re looking for a house where the dock isn’t on the main channel so you can swim and float without boats going by, this was the perfect quiet spot! They do have kayaks already on the dock for you to use however, we brought two more kayaks, three blowup paddle boards and a bunch of floats. We made so many memories here!!"

"I can’t say enough good things about the property and the hosts… beautiful views, plenty of lake access and convenient location to all of the nearby attractions. And to hear the wolves at night was a special treat! Highly recommend and will be returning again and again… be sure to give Red and Xena plenty of loving!"

"This home was perfect and in a wonderful location for our family vacation. We had three families staying at the house. My parents (2), my brother and his family (3), and my family (6). We loved all the games that this home had to offer. We all loved the wall connect four and wall chess game. The barrel arcade game was a blast as well. Angie has thought of everything to make your stay great. The kitchen was fully stocked, and it was easy to make dinner and breakfast every day. We had plenty of room for all us to eat around the table or at the bar. The sofa was comfortable to watch movies in the evening with the whole family. Our family went boating one day on Douglas Lake, went hiking to the Midnight Swimming hole, Alum Cave Hike, and spent a day in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Our very large family group (22 adults & kids) used these three properties for a Christmas family reunion. The lodge, cabin & barn provided many different bedding and layouts to satisfy everyone's needs. The hosts/owners & property manager were phenomenal. They were always ready and happy to assist with any issue or question, no matter how big or small. There was a very tiny hiccup with check-in information not being sent but I think that was a Vrbo hiccup more so than anything else. The owners resolved it immediately.The owners had all three properties decorated for the holidays, provided supplies for smores by the fire, and gave us free access to their golf cart for shuttling back and forth. They also graciously offered any extra supplies we may have been low on like toiletries, paper towels, etc...We couldn't have asked for anything better.I can definitely recommend the owners and the properties to anyone looking for a great vacation home spot in the Smoky Mountain area - well situated between Biltmore and all the activities in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg."
