"This hotel is in a very central location, making it easy to access many of Izmir's main attractions and historical sites. It's also very affordable, which I appreciated. The hotel staff were sp helpful and efficient, especially with the valet parking (for which I was extra grateful). I especially loved the breakfast buffet--there were so many great options and everything was always so delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here, and I would highly recommend Emen's Hotel to anyone wanting to visit Izmir."

"If you are visiting Izmir (Smyrna) for its historic significance, this is the hotel for you. It is across the street from the historic Agora site that is well worth visiting, with artifacts and buildings and arches dating from the time of Alexander the Great. It is also located in the middle of the historic market/bazaar Kemeralti Market, an adventure, delicious and lots of fun. This area feels totally removed from modern, commercial business center Izmir. The staff is amazing and goes beyond most hotel concierge staffs globally in patiently arranging tours and places to explore, both in Izmir and the surrounding area. I particularly want to thank Romeo for his extraordinary help in arranging tours for me and also rescuing me when I got lost. He loves his city and it shows! The justifiably famous Turkish breakfast had many delicious hot and cold choices, all freshly prepared and replenished as needed. My only criticism was the constant smoking in the dining room restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the live band, but you're surrounded in a miasma of smoke."
