We were extremely disappointed with the standard of the property. The deck had exposed nails and a mouldy outdoor setting. The kitchen was poor and tired. The screen and window in the kitchen was covered in spider webs and dirty. There were not screens on all windows. A single bed in bedroom upstairs was missing a footing. Bathrooms did not have exhaust fans and door would not stay open.
Nagual is an old house that needs a little TLC but overall it is lovely. Just a few things that we weren't happy with. We had to connect cables to work the TV. This was frustrating because you should really be able to just turn on a TV. After calling the agent he informed us that the cleaner sometimes unplugs a the power booster cable.
Secondly the house is very dusty. A few people in our party had bad sinus problems due to the dusty carpet and fans. Cleaner is not doing a thorough job.
The dishwasher also is very tricky to work. We gave up in the end as we were spending too much time trying to work it out.
Beds were comfy and kitchens and bathrooms were clean.
We booked for 5 days and left after 4 as it rained heavily every day. I slipped outside and broke my ankle so all in all not a good holiday. Nothing against the house, a little dated maybe, the connection ,stairs between upstairs and down made it feel like 2 separate places. Beds were comfortable.
This property is larger than the pictures show online, it is a great big home suitable for groups or families. It is an older style property but overall cleanliness was okay. We did find a used cooking tray that hadn't been cleaned in the oven. The bedrooms are larger and everyone got a bed which was great. It was cold and we would have loved to have made a fire, but wood is only provided in the winter months. We pretty much stayed upstairs most of the time as it was warmer, which was a shame as the downstairs was lovely, just didn't warm up enough. We did also have to call the owner out as a Bush Rat decided to come and visit the downstairs bedroom, and hunkered down for the night! The owner removed and got the cleaners in to clean the room and change all bedding. Overall a great spacious property with older style features.
This is a fabulous property in a great location.
It accommodated all our needs and more.
The bedrooms were well appointed except for the broken single bed in one of the rooms.
Also the oven door was missing, which the owner advised us of, except we weren't told until the day before we arrived, which caused some last minute re planning.
Also be aware of the costing for more than 4 adults sharing the property.
All of our concerns have been addressed.
The property owner and manager were very responsive to any problems and with booking.
We would happily stay again.
The house was much larger than we expected. Lots of room for everyone to break away and relax. The central heating was lovely on the top floor, but unfortunately this didn’t extend to the whole house. It was a bit drafty in some of the rooms, but there were lots of heaters to go round. The views were spectacular from the back deck. Great spot for a cuppa and book.
We spend a weekend in school holidays with another family. The house is quite clean. A short drive to local supermarket and cafes. 15-20 mins drive to local attractions and famous tracks. Kids love the "loft room" in the house. We really enjoy our stay, will come back for sure.
Great accommodation for larger groups. Lots of space and bedrooms, and lots of bathrooms, and the split levels offers a lot of privacy. Nice and warm and cozy, well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. We loved our stay here!
Loved this beautiful home. Warm, gorgeous and well equipped. Firewood wasn’t stocked inside which was a little annoying but that’s just me being lazy. Loved it!
The perfect house. Enough room for all of us. Multiple dining areas. Lots of heaters to keep you warm in winter. The views from the balcony for sunrise are spectacular. This will be our yearly visit to the mountains. Lovely host with easy communication. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much.
We came with many friends for a relaxing weekend of walks and wine. This was a great spot to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The house was great overall.
We had a great time at the house, it was spacious & well appointed. There were a few minor problems in that several bed side lights didn’t work, the exhaust fan in middle bathroom didn’t work, a dining chair was dangerously in need of repair & the oven was dirty. It really needs a good clean!

Great house but need some maintenance
Great house but air-conditioning and TV were not working. 34 degree without air-conditioning, we can only use the lower level of the house. Could not open some window as no fly screen to stop insect flying into the house.
