"A fabulous place. If you are looking for a historic typical French chateau then this is the place for you.There were ample rooms, particularly the upstairs two bedroom apartment. We stayed when the temperature was 30 degrees. Thankfully we were able to cool off in the clean outdoor pool.The local pretty village of Confolens has everything you need including an Intermarche and Lidl. We hope to visit again"
