Very impressed with my stay at Chalet Du Bois, the rooms were spotless and the cleaners were on point each day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the location is perfect 4 minute walk from bus stop. Would 100% stay again !!!!

Rooms where spotless the red carpet is very contrasting and possibly old looking compared to rest of room but staff where fantastic and very helpful spoke good English which was a blessing spa facilities all clean and quite to use too

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Chalet Hotel du Bois. The rooms were warm, cosy and clean, and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was exceptionally good, we ate there twice and both times enjoyed a lovely meal. The bar was also a great place to enjoy a drink and play cards. Only used the pool/ sauna once but was very nice after a day of skiing.

Charming stay in Les Houches at the Chalet Hotel Du Bois. Staff were incredibly friendly and facilities were perfect for our stay. Excellent pool, bar and restaurant facilities. Bedroom was perfectly comfortable for our ski stay and we would absolutely stay again!

Convenient location

Quite simple room, could add 1 or 2 chairs and lights in the room, no tissue/napkin in the room. Even the swimming pool feels dark. The cuisine of the restaurant was great, very delicious. Good location.

Room is comfortable, the view is fantastic. We rent skiing gears in the store cross the street, the sports owner is nice and professional. We have breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it is good and delicious. Recommend.

Good location for skiing

Great hotel with comfy rooms and plenty of space which was good for skiing. Hotel shuttle to the lifts which was good as long as precooked the evening before. Quiet area with a few restaurant choices within walking distance but easy access to the bus stop to get to Chamonix village. Not always someone on reception and quite quiet in general if you are looking for something a bit more lively!

It’s a small town, hotel is centrally located. Clean, friendly great food. You can hear traffic but I am on the road side ! Most hotels are situated the same. Definitely would return again.

A lovely base for our stay. The view from the room was incredible. Staff lovely and friendly. Pool and sauna was a lovely addition. I did expect a kettle in the room so was a little disappointed to not have one . In my opinion the bar also lacked atmosphere. I would stay again.

Room was lovely with spacious bed and modern, clean bathroom. However, the staff and service was disappointing for a hotel of this price. Staff were rude and seemed like they were trying to avoid our concerns or get rid of us. Especially bad in the restaurant where staff were very rude and service was bad. Food was sub par for the price. Sauna is nice however pool is uncomfortably cold. Very disappointed as we were really looking forward to our stay following walking and camping the TMB.

Nice place to crash after the TMB. Liked our room, including the next that opened to the mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful, they just seemed a little unstaffed the night we were there. We sat in the lounge and had a bottle of wine, the bar tender was doubling as the receptionist, she was really friendly and helpful when available. Felt bad she was doing both jobs.

Smashing, top marks.

Staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough. Room very clean and amazing views. Not too close to local lifts but just put your name down the day before and their own mini bus was ready and waiting and bang on time and just a 5 min trip to the main lifts. I hear people moan about the pool being too cool (get a life!) for me the temperature was perfect and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and included fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs and bacon. Chamonix short bus ride to main town but plenty to do in this lovely resort of les Houches. professional and pleasant stay. Thank you to all the ladies on reception. I will return! Dr Stokes.
