"This property is in a very quiet village with only a boulangerie which isn't open every day and a posh Chateau restaurant. There's a supermarket 8 minutes away and other boulangeries. We swam in the river, visited Amboise, Tours, chateaus and Beauval zoo from here. The house is spacious. and has everything you need. The hosts are kind and friendly. They live 2 doors up. We were shocked by the amount charged for bedding though.E149 Agree a price before you go."

"My husband and I had the most wonderful stay of four days at the gite. The location is quiet and perfectly situated to balance being near sightseeing highlights but out of the busier city areas. The house itself is charm personified. A beautiful exterior, a modern and comfortable interior, and the most beautiful garden we saw the whole stay. "Gite très bien situé et ultra pittoresque. Totalement conforme aux photos de l’annonce. Noemie nous a accueilli de manière fort sympathique. Randonnées en forêt d’Amboise et vignobles possible en partant du gîte. Pour les bords de Loire mieux vaut prendre la voiture 5min car la rivière est peu accessible dans le village. De nombreux châteaux à seulement quelques minutes. Bonus en période de forte chaleur le gîte reste frais, c’est l’avantage de vivre sous terre."

"This is a very classily converted old property with spacious rooms and flexible outdoor areas, beautifully planted. Lovely comfortable beds. The skies are incredibly dark for star-gazing, there is a lovely park in the grounds of the local chateau and although there is no bar in the village there is a good bread shop and a very nice restaurant (La Croix Verte). Amboise is only 5 mins drive away. We were there for the phenomenal Bastille Day fireworks."

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. There was also no air...

"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this lovely house. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was great! The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. Overall, we loved our stay and had the great time. Eloïse and her father were a great help when we needed it and they were such lovely people!"

"Marie & Jean-Louis were fabulous hosts that ensured we had everything needed. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. We were given a lovely tour of the family's cave where the family once produced wine. The gîte is in an historic district with lovely views of the vines and mustard in early spring. Truly a gem of a vacation property. "

"Beautiful hotel! Beautiful well appointed room. Comfortable King size bed. Great shower. Wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed having a couch and coffee table. Separate toilet room. Would have preferred real coffee cups rather than cardboard cups. Would have liked a shelf or alcove in the shower to hold our soap and shampoo. But everything else was just perfect!"

"Reception staff very helpful with good instructions as you need a couple of codes for the out of hours door and car park door. Apartment was a good size with a useful kitchenette. Parking was easy access on the level with plenty of space. Handy supermarket next door with cheap fuel pumps. Easy walking distance to centre of Tours (10 mins)"
