"Peaceful bliss but a great location with lots going on as well. I travelled to a lot of Switzerland from Morgins as a beautiful base. I could easily have spent the day on my hotel balcony drowning on the pure mountain air, listening to the cow bells and the chairlift opposite. Owner & wife delightful and helpful along with great staff. Home cooked evening meals available which were excellent but also lots of restaurants available for a change of scene. I might be making it all sound perfect…that’s because it is!"

"Clean but small rooms. Staff were friendly and most spoke English. We went in summer and loved the views from the balcony. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was again small but clean and shower was great. Access to public lifts was very useful after a long day of activities."

"Great basic apartment in a resort that has so many different activities. Very good was check in and ability to order bread and apartment has everything that need. Not perfect was needing to push luggage in trolley uphill for few hundred metres on arrival and can only charge full electric car, but overall lovely stay to get up away from the heat."

"Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce bel appartement ! Tout était en parfait état de marche. L'emplacement est magnifique, à seulement quelques minutes à pied du centre et du bas de la station, avec une superbe vue sur le lac. c'est très calme la nuit. Je recommande vivement !"

"Family stopover for 2 nights. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful, highly commendable. Room was decent size and did everything we needed from in. Loads of activities and things to do. Balcony was on the small size was only grumble but not a deal breaker for us."

"Avoriaz is simply a magical wonderland that was an incredible place to stay during the winter season.The location of the property was perfect. 20 m to the Carrefour supermarket, 20 m to ski hire, next to all the key restaurants and bars, and literally doorstep skiing as you step out the block door on to the snow.Ski locker situated in same building, and fast lift to apartment.We had family of 4 on this visit, and although tight, we managed OK, enjoying the little balcony that overlooked the slopes for evening views and unwinding. Partial views of sunsets. You will know everyone intimately by the time you leave with all sounds audible!Apartment had everything we needed including UK TV channels, hairdryer, cooking appliances, UK adaptors and a strong phone signal, but no WIFI- which depending on your perspective is good or bad.Beds (you need to hire sheets) were not the comfiest, but functional. I've never used a ceramic hob or combined microwave grill, and could have really used some manuals or instructions. We are fairly intelligent people but had no clue how to work these. Good hot water and central heating.I had to write a few times to Madame Doin in the weeks building up to the stay with general queries, and always got a prompt reply.The office you pick the keys up from is really limited in it's opening hours, so be careful if you have an issue or question. They are helpful if you can catch them.I'd absolutely recommend."

"Great location, apartment was reasonable size and good value for money.Sophie was always on hand on messenger however I think a small welcome pack or email would be handy. Something that contains clear instructions for check-in and check-out, WiFi details etc. Whilst all went fairly smoothly I was a little apprehensive about how to get from avoriaz parking to the apartment, picking up the keys at the cafe and got advised of the wrong room number. "
