This is one of the most authentic chalets in Méribel. The space
Nestled in a wild environment in the heart of the ski area and 200m from the heart of the resort, Chalet Sorbier overlooks Méribel and enjoys an exceptional situation with its south terrace and breathtaking views of the summits. Surrounded by authentic chalets, it is a magical and unique place away from prying eyes, to live a fabulous stay out of time. Comfortable and warm on 3 levels (160m2), with a splendid fireplace, it offers a beautiful bright living room with elegant rustic open kitchen and intimate rooms.

Departure / return on skis.

Located in the heart of the 3 valleys (Courchevel, Méribel, Menuires - Val Thorens), in the most exceptional neighborhood of Méribel. At the bottom of a snowy pedestrian impasse, it is located directly in the middle of the slopes, and yet at what ND ques steps from the center of the resort (Olympic park: ice rink, swimming pool, climbing wall, etc.) and the departure of the ski lifts (La Chaudanne, ESF ski lessons). All shops are within walking distance within a radius of 300 meters (general food, bakery, butcher/butcher shop, ski hire, restaurants).

When you arrive, the discovery of this corner of paradise is magical, almost unreal in the midst of snow-covered trees and facing the peaks, without a car.

Furnished with high-end noble materials (antique wood, household appliances, solid oak table, etc.) to feel "at home", this is one of the resort's historic chalets allowing you to fully enjoy an extraordinary atmosphere, in contrast to the impersonal apartments built chain for 20 years. On the ground, a real exceptional raw Loze stone, in front of a splendid fireplace for friendly and warm evenings.

The chalet measures 160 m2, it is spread over 3 floors and can accommodate 10 people without feeling cramped.

- On the upper floor, 2 large bedrooms very independent (king size beds 180x190) from each other separated by the central access staircase. With their " dressing room ", they also have a bathroom with a shower, a bathtub and a separate toilet. Each of these rooms has a view of the heart of Méribel, la Chaudanne. They are south-facing, and are very bright. One of them has a large desk in solid old oak, ideal for teleworking in peace, as well as an upright piano for music lovers.

- On the main floor, a large living room with its corner sofa that can accommodate everyone at the same time in a comfortable way and overlooks a magnificent fireplace for cozy, friendly and memorable evenings. Several fur plaids are of course at your disposal. Opposite the sofa, next to the fireplace, there is a large TV screen connected to the usual streaming services (netflix, amazon video, etc. : you just need to enter your personal identifiers).
A large entrance allows to leave everyone's belongings, with an individual locker for helmets / gloves / etc.

- On the lower floor, 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds 140x190, and 1 with 2 single beds 90x190) each with bathroom with shower and toilet.

From the upper or terrace rooms, the cottage has breathtaking views of Mont Vallon, but also the historic Olympic track of Méribel, which will again be used for world championships. Perfect for demonstrations of jumping and torchlight descents by ESF instructors, you are at the forefront !

On the terrace, sun loungers are available for a break in the after-ski sun or in the middle of the day, " as in an altitude restaurant" if you go back for lunch (skiing at the feet, it's easy !), or for those who prefer to stroll at the chalet and rest there. In summer, a barbecue is also available. A large table allows you to have meals outside when the weather allows it, facing south and facing the peaks.

Equipped with 4K HD TV, apple TV and premium Sonos bluetooth/wifi music speakers, free and unlimited wifi, games for young and old, and very functional, it feels like home right away. A piano is also open to musicians. A washing machine and dryer is available in open access, along with an umbrella cot.

Books in English or French are left open, as well as many board games for all ages. The living area opens on to a magnificent open kitchen renovated this year in old wood and granite worktop.
The kitchen equipment is complete, functional and modern (nespresso coffee, washing machine, microwave, etc.)

In addition to the main heating, a floor heating has been installed under the kitchen floor tiles. It is programmed to light up in the early morning and early evening, to offer the little extra comfort that does well before attacking the day or to warm up in the evening in addition to the fireplace.

With Wifi repeaters on each floor, it allows everyone to easily stay connected anywhere in the cottage but also to telework if needed.

With 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 5 toilets, it offers everyone the desired privacy while offering magnificent moments of conviviality with family or friends facing a magnificent fireplace designed by one of the historic architects of Meribel.

Otherwise (stay of 4 nights or less, or in summer), linen rental (sheets + 2 towels) for €20/person (including towels and bath mats). Compulsory end of stay cleaning extra for €200.

For those who come by car, in winter a covered parking space is available for free. In summer, free parking is possible near the chalet.
You will no longer have to drive or use the shuttle bus once on site.
On the other hand, the access to the cottage is only pedestrian and not suitable for people who have difficulties of balance or to walk. With children, a group of friends or big teenagers, once the luggage is unloaded (we help you of course, with a small kennel: the beginning of magic...) it is the absolute dream!

Access to the Jacuzzi is not included in the rental price. It is allowed if the health situation permits. To use it, report it no later than 15 days before your stay. Additional cost 10% of the rental price, with a minimum of €500.
