"We stayed 4 days in this magnificent property. Property is huge and as pictured, with many rooms we hardly used other than to pass through in awe. Only problem was the hot water service to two of the four ensuites was not working. The host promptly arranged for it to be reset each day but to no avail. I have no doubt they will have it fixed for future guests given the quality, service and attention we received. An amazing place to stay, in a non touristy and authentic Italian town. "

"House was beautiful, terrific surroundings , 1/2 drive to Lecce. Fully equipped ( no condiments ) outside kitchen would handle a dozen people , huge pool.A special affectionate little kitten kept visiting .We would stay there agsin in a heartbeat . It would be super for a family as gardens are enormous ."

"Masseria Corda Di Lana is an amazing holiday location, 15 minutes drive from Porto Cesareo and Torre Lipado both house great restaurants Lidos and beaches. The room itself was well furnished with lovely bathroom, the grounds and pool area are superb. The only two negatives are 1) WIFI is non existent in your rooom and around the pool, this makes it all the more pertinent as you hardly get 3G. Did complain about this daily but always told engineers working on it. I would also give the restaurant in the evening a miss, food and service was poor, my comments were passed on. The staff make this accommodation. From Gorgina (sorry for spelling) her breakfast duties. For Paola and Miriam for their receptionist skills and excellent knowledge and recommendations during our stay and lastly for Samuel for his knowledge enthusiasm and motivation. "Not what I was expected. I know we came during off season but in May. The winery seem to be well known in the area but it wasn't open. They don't really have staff in attendance, but you can always reach them by email or phone if you have local cell phone. They use an app to access the gate into the venue unfortunately that our connection wasn't always the greatest and we needed to ask our friend to open the gate for us. We only saw one or two other guests in the hotel so it is really too quiet without staff around. "

"Stunning grounds, fantastic castle and winery tour and wonderful warm and friendly people that are passionate about making your stay perfect. The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!"
