Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. "The Lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable ideal for a family or couple with a dog, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and so spacious!... the views of Milbrook and Plymouth from Lodge 23 are astounding. A great place to relax. Although pet friendly, I think if you own just one, well behaved dog he or she should be allowed off-lead and monitored closely...but it's a no, I understand why, but my dog is a registered working dog and it was her holiday too. Maybe a dog area should be considered...

"The room was excellent for all four of us. It was our first trip to Cornwall with our son and 6 year old granddaughter. Our hosts Fiona and James made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the full English breakfasts. The location was wonderful with open fields at the rear of the property and on occasion spotting a cow or two. It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend it to fellow holiday travelers."

"I think that this may have been the first time that the caravan was used this year, both TVs were playing up. The maintenance guy was there within two minutes and solved the problem. The caravan was very clean and ready for occupation. All the staff, without exception were friendly and helpful. We were unfortunate with the weather, very cold winds from the north, but the heating system coped well. The only adverse comment I could make is about the current trend of the use of QR codes. All park info was accessed by QR codes. I'm in my 80's and don't do QR codes. The problem is that you have to know about something in order to ask. For example, I knew the restaurant would have a menu, I asked for a paper copy and was given one. The only thing I didn't like was you had to pay for wifi in your caravan and at £5 per day I thought that was something I could do without."

"Wonderful holiday home on a complex with swimming pool and gym. Holiday homes were all unique and ours had a jacuzzi and barbecue in a private area - both well used by us. House had dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Beach within walking distance for crabbing and rock climbing and excellent cafe to cater for daily snacks. Shopping for food was about 1 mile away in Pelynt (spar) or Looe (co-op) - so bring your own staples like cereal, coffee, tea, wash powder etc. We were a family of 6 with 3 generations and none of us wanted to leave."
