"Great location in the country side. So peaceful. Good atmosphere generally with plenty of bikers and walkers about. Comfortable well maintained rooms. Very helpful staff. For us food portions too large. We would have appreciated smaller menu size and higher quality."

"This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. There was both a bath and a shower and both were clean. Tv and great coffee machine with plenty of milk and sugar with milk alternatives if needed. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help with any request. The food was lovely in both dinner and the following lunch. The bar/restaurant has loads of windows and tables in quieter spots. The continental breakfast was fresh and there was lots of variety. I cannot recommend this Inn enough and will definitely be using this again. Reasonable prices, lovely staff, great food, amazing atmosphere. 10/10. "

"The property was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was so well equipped and top end spec. The whole property was very luxurious and super comfy. I slept like a log - which is not at all normal for me. There were blankets for use inside and out, the linen and towels were beautiful. I would say home from home - but my house is not this nice!!It’s very remote and super quiet at night, but only a short journey to lots of things to do. We would recommend the silent pool gin distillery tour but you need to book in advance. Definitely returned home with batteries fully recharged. "

"Location was fantastic with a lovely view. It was very peaceful with woodland walks straight from the cottage just a couple of minutes away. The cottage itself is even better than the pictures. Very clean with everything you could need for your stay. Tim, the host was extremely friendly & helpful."

"I was little disappointed as when I booked through hotels.com platform,they advertised it as breakfast included free but then when I arrived at the hotel, I was told breakfast was not included. They didn't tell me the cost of the breakfast until I asked, neither was I given a receipt of my payment made (I should have asked but I had three little kids to sort out and it slipped out of my mind) The room was stuffy, there was a fan which only had speed control and didn't do a great job. Not many family rooms available, I called the reception a week prior and I explained that I had three children whom I wasn't happy to put in their own room due to age, I was told it would be fine and they would put two beds but only gave us one due to the room size, so three of us had to squeeze in 1 double bed. The pool was descent size but not great when some adults wanted to swim laps so closed of half of the pool to do so, leaving the other rhalf crowded. Breakfast was good and the sitting areas were pleasant to relax. The staff was friendly, the check in was stressful as they only had 2 desks which meant there was a queue till outside. I was expecting the reception area to have been bit more spacious. Overall was good but I wouldn't say grand for what the room charges were. "

"Holly Cottage was a terrific place to stay. It was so quiet and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and the internet was amazingly fast if you need to work while traveling. Tim was very responsive but gave us our privacy. The Peaslake Store was just down the road for anything we needed and even carried products from the Coverwood Farm, where Holly Cottage is located. One of my fav places I’ve stayed in. Would highly recommend!"

"The garden flat was beautiful and we had no troubles with the property at all. The roads in Surrey are a bit tricky at times, but everything else about our stay was wonderful. Louise was helpful and informative without being intrusive. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the garden flat highly."
