"Great hotel in a quiet village within an easy drive to the coast. We paid for early check in which made our overnight stay last a bit longer and gave us a base to explore nearby beaches. Dinner was lovely and staff accommodated dietary requests. The breakfast was fantastic offering a great range of continental and cooked options. "We checked in to the family room as mentioned but noticed a smell which we initially ignored as we put the luggage down and went out to explore the place. When we returned that evening the smell had got worst so we opened the windows but after a while it became unbearable so we went to reception and informed them. The lady came with me checked it and immediately asked us to pack so we can be moved to a better room which was newer and in very good condition. She ensured we were happy before she left. However we could not find the TV remote in the room but chose not to mention as we were thankful for their service already."
