From the moment you pull up in the car at this hotel you realize it will have some challenges. All the spots are taken in front of the hotel at the 1/2 hour parking area nearest the check in and were for our entire three night stay. Instead you need to park in the garage below the building and try and figure out the maze into the hotel with no signage and poor lighting. (Don't even try to use the Wilson parking App, it doesn't work)
The rooms face the Lake and Capital, which is excellent, but the windows are of poor design so the expressway below is very loud in your room.
The lighting in the room is very dim, once you figure out what the unlabeled switches do, and you will need to use a flashlight for a number of the parts of the room.
The area around the hotel has a limited number of restaurant options and the walk into town is a mile, the Capital is 2.5 mile walk. Public transport is not nearby.

Interesting architecture but the interior lighting is really poorly designed. We needed a head torch inside our room to locate switches and plugs and the 'mood' lighting in the hallways made it almost impossible to see room numbers on the doors. With no ability to increase the level of lighting in rooms this suggests little attention has been paid to practicality. The rest of the hotel was interesting and the staff excellent...but we would not stay there again.
