Restaurant 10/10 food

We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it!

Great location, great value and superb room

We loved the old country pub and hospitality. After a quick walk around the village we settled in for a few ales a fantastic dinner ad a good night sleep. Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone

We loved our stay. Great location. Could park the car. Highly recommend

Everything about Buckland Manor is excellent - could not wish for a better venue for a relaxing holiday.

If you enjoy walking and delicious food the Slaughters Inn is for you. Less than 2 hours on the train from London the Inn organised a taxi to whisk us away to Lower Slaughter. We were greated by cheerful staff and shown to an elegant room with all the comforts. The Inn boasts a very pretty and spacious garden perfect for outdoor dining. We really enjoyed the food and wine from the menu on both evenings. The breakfast is also good with a wide selection of cooked plus the buffet option. Best of...

Perfect location in Cheltenham city. Really friendly staff. Excellent Continental breakfast. Certainly recommend

Great hotel and food was excellent

Excellent stay - staff, rooms and facilities were all exceptional.

The room, separate to and, around the back of the pub was stunning. It was warm and cosy with a controllable radiator for heat. Bed was very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. No shower, but a lovely bath with a handheld shower head. Perfect place to stay before starting the Thames Path. Food was elevated pub fare, and brekkie was the standard full English.

The breakfast was great. The room a little small but decor very tasteful. I would recommend a room upgrade if offered. I’ll definitely return.

Clean and tidy room with very helpful and friendly staff. Food was also tasty - dinner & breakfast. Lovely setting with great walks along the Thames

Overall a very comfortable nights accommodation. The facilities in the room were more than adequate and we particularly enjoyed the design and furnishings. Staff were very attentive, although I sensed were somewhat short staffed and rushed on occasion. The only slight drawback was the delay in serving meals, which were nonetheless delicious, and a reflection on the design and lack of separation between the eating and booking/bar areas. I would recommend the Harcourt Arms as an attractive and...
