All staff was excellent, and I appreciated the available coffee! Overall I thought the price I paid ($497) for two nights was far too high for the quality of the hotel, and I have regrets about booking at La Quinta. I do understand that it was SXSW and prices are likely higher around that time.

Orangewood Inn & Suites Midtown
Very clean and quiet room. Everything is a bit dated and there were flickering lights in the bathroom, etc. It is definitely a nicer space than most inexpensive hotels, however. And the night clerk was very friendly!

Two nights with no heat in the room. Staff blaimed the WiFi, had to 'hard re-boot' my room 3x, then said 'engineering had left for the night.' Offered an extra blanket. But no portable heater.
