This home was perfect for our extended family vacation. The beds were comfortable there was adequate towels and kitchen supplies. The house was in good condition and the deck and hot tub were a bonus. The game room in the garage was a hit for the young people in their 20s. The location was 10 to 15 minutes from either Terry Peak Ski or downtown Deadwood.
Very nice house with plenty of rooms. The garage and hot tub were very nice bonuses. Only critique was that there was a lock of hot water. After the first shower of the day, the rest were lukewarm at best. But overall, a great place!
The home is well equipped in a perfect location! The property manager was great to work with! I wish all property managers were as accessible and on top of things as she was!
Had a great weekend here celebrating my wife's 50th birthday with our kids and their significant others. Enjoyed the game room and hot tub.The bedrooms worked out perfectly as well. Decent location, close to Deadwood for nighttime entertainment!
We had a wonderful time! The house was in the perfect location for us as we came out to go utving for the week. Loved the house, it was perfect for 8 adults. The host was very accommodating. Would for sure stay here again!!
We loved the house. The cleanliness and the view was amazing. We love the wildlife in the area. We seen turkey's, deer and a lil chipmunk all on the property.
Great property plenty of wild turkeys and deer in the neighborhood. Great accommodations a/c kept house very cool. Beds were comfortable. Very short drive to deadwood and spearfish for shopping. Would definitely stay again. I think it is better than the pictures and description. Extremely quiet area.
There were a lot of Deer and Turkeys that we saw daily. The hot tub was so inviting. There was trailer parking available just down the hill. Nice game room! The 8 of us enjoyed our visit!
Beautiful home that accomodated 3 couples perfectly! Came to ride our motorcycles in the hills and had an awesome time.
Thank you for your hospitality and great communication, dew hiccups that were addressed and of no fault of the owner.!
Would definitely stay again š
Really like the downstairs suite for privacy. Deck is great, enjoyed the hot tub. We were a little confused how to work the A/C but figured it out. Had fun playing darts. Great communication from Christy, we had no issues.
We arrived on a Sunday evening, at twilight, after traveling 380 miles by motorcycle. Lights were on over the driveway to greet us. Once inside, we were glad to see a very clean and inviting place to relax for the week. Our host had been communicating with us for a few days prior to fill us in on grocery stores and dining locations near by. The hot tub was our saving grace and recovery space, after each of 6 days of riding around the Black Hills. We did experience a few gremlins with a couple of appliances, and our host was very quick to resolve the problems. Her quick response time, regular communication, and helpful tips made our stay very enjoyable. We ate morning and evening meals at the house and the kitchen had all of the items we needed to prepare our food and store leftovers. All of the bedrooms were spacious, and our group of 5 was very comfortable for the week. The side deck was a fabulous place to enjoy a cup of coffee each morning while watching the sun rise. We all agreed that this location was a destination we'd return to some day soon.
We stayed at this property with our daughter and son-in-law, as well as our other two adult children. So there were six adults total. This property was spacious and accommodated our needs perfectly. I really enjoyed taking walks up and down the mountain each day. We also used the hot tub every evening . And the outdoor fireplace was the perfect touch. The boys used the game room in the garage quite a bit for bags tournaments. I love that the property was in the quiet town of lead. But it was close enough to deadwood that we could drive over there really easily for dinner, a parade, a bus tour, etc. We also rented ATVs one afternoon only about a mile away and the guys went golfing on a really nice course about 15 miles away. Overall, it was a fantastic property in a great location. We loved it!
We are really pleased with the accommodations of the house that we rented for a motorcycle rally in Deadwood. The garage is big enough for 5 Can-Am Spyders and 1 HD Trike. It was situated in an area of Lead, SD that is like staying in the countryside.
Unfortunately, the 4th "bedroom" does not have a closet or anywhere to hang clothes, no furniture (dresser/armoire) to unpack. We had that room and lived for 5 days out of our suitcase. The other areas of the house were very well supplied with items that are expected when you stay in a VRBO. The kitchen was well equipped but could use a casserole dish or two. The living room has sufficient seating for 5 people. We brought up the folding chairs from the garage area. The garage area is set up as a game room, we didn't use it for that but would have been great on a rainy day.
Also, unfortunately, I was notified that towels and washcloths were missing. The picture sent by the management company showed dark brown towels in the shared bath on the main floor. We washed towels once while there and there were no dark brown towels used. We had blue (from the master, tan from the shared bath, and beige from the downstairs bath. (I'm hoping to get this resolved with the mgmt co.) The next time I will take inventory. The 6-day stay was very enjoyable. Everyone says that it is a beautiful place, conveniently located to Deadwood where our activities were, and we are already talking about trying to get the same place for next July.
We had such a wonderful time and the cabin was perfect for our needs. The kids absolutely loved the game room, we all loved the hot tub and it was in close proximity to all the places we wanted to visit.
