"Wonderful basque style rooms with modern bath and Great mountain view in the center of town. Super friendly staff and great service"

House Tobago Cays 14 persons near St Jean de Luz heated swimming pool

10/10 Excellent

"The property was magnificent! We were a large group of three families with a lot of teenage children. The house was huge, with plenty of space for everyone. The outside cooking facilities were essential & perfect. The weather was very hot and cooking for 13 people would have been a bit of struggle given the size of the kitchen within the house. On the day we arrived the dishwasher wasn’t working. Within 24 hours a technician arrived, and within 48 hours a new dishwasher was installed. We were very impressed with how quickly our hosts responded to the minor issue. The pool was fantastic and a welcome reprise from the warm weather. The bedrooms on the top floor did get a little warm, but the room did have a portable air-conditioning unit.I would definitely recommend the property and stay again while visiting the area."

"This was a lovely little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view from the balcony of our room. Breakfast was good. The hotel doesn't do evening meals but it was only a short walk into Ascain where there were plenty of bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would return again when in the area"
