"This establishment actually has no official stars. This is a richly deserved rating. Apart from one very kindly cleaning lady, I can not think of one positive thing to say about this "hotel". The sign on the gable wall tells you the hotel has been renovated. The notice in the plastic cubicle that is the "bathroom" (the door didn't close) tells you improvements will begin in September 2017. We found an infestation of flies on the nasty plastic curtain of the shower . And this was the better...

"Beautiful hotel. Stayed here as we were attending a wedding. Very informative of the local area. Clean, tidy and beautiful rooms! We stayed in room 101- it is gorgeous with a little terraced outside. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the hotel and the area. Perfect location, lots of coffee shops near by. On the Saturday they had a food market right outside the hotel, then on the Sunday a mixed market. Friendly locals and beautiful setting! "

"This property was OK for us though we couldn't arrive before 1730. Dan did let us leave our bikes while we went off to find somewhere to have a drink. We felt very much that we were living in someone else's house e.g. the bathroom had all of the owners stuff still in it. Breakfast was fine. Usually French fare."

"This place was expensive, and did not include breakfast, tea & coffee making or decent bath towels. The bath towels were very small and incredibly thin, the bathrobes were grey/white which was off-putting, paint was peeling, decor bright orange and red. Not our taste at all and fairly basic. "Serge was a great host and assisted us throughout. Thought accommodation was nearly new and surprised to hear it had been converted nearly 10 years!
