About this property

Paradis en Berry

  • Welcome to George Sand country, in the heart of the countryside she loved so dearly.

Escape to our beautiful traditional Berry farmhouse, a century-old property nestled in the peaceful countryside near Argenton-sur-Creuse.

Renovated with great care to preserve its authentic character, this charming home offers a wonderfully peaceful setting, perfect for a holiday with family or friends, or even a creative retreat.

Set within half a hectare of grounds dotted with fruit trees, the house enjoys stunning views over the surrounding rolling countryside.

We spent two years renovating this old house, keeping things simple and authentic while making no compromises when it comes to comfort. Guests can enjoy Wi-Fi, a television, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a hairdryer and a plancha grill, so you can make the most of outdoor living.

During the summer season, relax beside our **heated swimming pool (3 × 10 metres)**, available from approximately mid-May to mid-September.

The house is also equipped with an electric heating system to ensure your comfort throughout the year.

All the floors are original, and most of the furniture has been carefully sourced from antique shops, flea markets and second-hand dealers in the local area.

**A characterful home with a soul of its own, where time seems to stand still.**
