Located 2 hours from Lyon and 3 hours from Montpellier, the village of Mas-de-Tence is nestled in a verdant setting in the heart of this small village. The Gîte du Belvédère is the ideal place for an outdoor holiday in comfortable accommodation!

The local council has taken great care in renovating the house built by Klaus Gemündt, a stained-glass artist and iconic figure of the village.

The house is unique, featuring stained-glass windows, a ground-floor window offering a view of the surrounding meadow, a Cubist-inspired kitchen, and more.
Outside, the terrace offers a magnificent view of the region's famous volcanoes, known as "Les Sucs de l'Yssingelais."

On-site activities include relaxation, hiking, mushroom picking, and visiting an open-air photography exhibition. A little further afield: the "Velay Express" steam train, numerous outdoor activities: rock climbing, off-road scootering, museums, a concert hall, and a cinema.

A little further still: explore the city of Le Puy-en-Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage sites, discover the Mézenc plateau, or the young Loire gorges. The Haute-Loire region abounds with a multitude of cultural and sporting activities!

Shops and services are available in Tence or Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid (less than 10 minutes by car).

All-inclusive rates: linens, towels, bed linen, cleaning, and utilities. Set on an unfenced plot bordered by meadows, Le Belvédère is a single-story house (very rare in Haute-Loire). The entrance is through a hallway leading to the living room with a kitchen and lounge area. This room is exceptionally bright thanks to its many windows, giving the impression of living outdoors! The hallway also leads to the first two bedrooms, which share a shower room but each have its own separate entrance.

The third bedroom is accessible from the living room and has its own en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and toilet.

A garage is available for storing bicycles, fishing equipment, or other items such as a motorcycle. The garage is not large enough to park a car. Door widths for wheelchair access:
