Chalet des Momes is an OVO Network property. It is a four bedroom, three bathroom chalet for eight guests, spread over three floors and 156m2 of floor space.
The OVO Network team’s opinion -
The chalet is in a great location for those who prefer to be in the calm. It has views across to the pistes in Chinaillon, with easy and quick access to the village, via ski bus or car.
We feel Chalet des Momes will especially appeal to families with young children who may have lessons in the morning and then want to head back to the chalet in the afternoons. But then again, the snow park and off piste/ parapenting possibilities make Chinaillon an interesting base for more experienced sports enthusiasts too.
The picture window in the living room frames beautiful views, all year round, and the terrace off the main living space is a total suntrap.
The mezzanine bedroom overlooks the dining table and kitchen. The space can be made more cosy and private by drawing the thick floor to ceiling curtains. It has its own shower room, other guests head downstairs to bed, apart from the two guests using the mezzanine.
The outdoor spaces at the chalet mean that guests can dine, read, relax in the jacuzzi, sunbathe, play boules on the area to the front of the chalet, or take in the natural beauty of the local waterfall not far from the chalet.
Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.
IMPORTANT: the spa is a Scandinavian bath. Instructions will be provided by the manager on arrival.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Perfect holiday
We had a perfect holiday. The chalet is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. The place is beautiful and the view is amazing. It is situated in a lovely area, not far away from the ski slopes and is not very crowded. It's a quiet area. I recommend this amazing Chalet des Mômes.

Unforgettable stay with breathtaking views
We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the chalet, the facilities, the hot tub, and the different locations in and around the chalet for breakfast and meals. We appreciated the relatively close distance to the villages and enjoyed the fantastic hikes with views around the village. The communication with the host went very smoothly.

Beautiful location, room for improvement
The area near Le Grand Bornand is stunningly beautiful and the home gave us a good base to explore, including into Annecy and deeper into the Alps. The house has great views. It is close to several other homes, which doesn't come across in the pictures. While the home was generally clean, we had a problem with flies inside the home and did not get any support from the owner to address that problem (not even a fly swatter!). Pretty simple thing that could have made our first couple of days better. We didn't spend much time in the home -- used it mainly to explore. I would definitely go back to the area and maybe even this particularly home with some assurance that these type of issues would be addressed. We liked the layout of the home and generally enjoyed our time there -- mainly because of the amazing views.

Super expérience, vues époustouflantes !
C'est la première fois que nous passons par OVO Network: tout s'est bien passé, avec un super bon suivi, un retour précis par mail et par téléphone. Très sérieux. On trouve de véritables petites pépites sur leur site. Nous avons aimé notre séjour, la vue du chalet est incroyable. Adeptes des randonnées, nous avons trouvé notre bonheur.

Belle décoration et commodités au top
Le chalet des Mômes est très bien placé par rapport à la station de ski.
Bain nordique avec sublime vue.
Un plus sont les grandes pièces pour faire sécher les vetements de ski et chaussures. Je recommande fortement ce chalet.

Si nous pouvons, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
Nous avons passé ici 10 jours avec mon compagnon. Le chalet est très agréable et très bien équipé. La vue depuis le séjour est très belle avec la chaîne des Aravis encore enneigée en mai. Un séjour ressourçant avec de la pluie comme du beau temps ! Bien qu'il ne soit pas sur place, notre hôte restait joignable pour tout renseignement. Une bouteille de champagne nous a été offerte à notre arrivée. Une attention très appréciée !!

Très bon séjour
Chalet très bien situé. Calme absolu. Vue magique sur les sommets enneigés. L'agencement des chambres est bien pensé. Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité téléphonique de notre hôte.

Un chalet très bien équipé avec une décoration soignée et une vue imprenable sur les Aravis, tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour un excellent séjour !
Nous avons apprécié la taille du chalet, le confort et la vue.
Les promenades et les paysages des environs sont superbes.

A perfect spot
Chalet des Momes is a perfect spot for a mountain holiday.
Easy access to superb skiing, a beautiful home with an ideal hot tub for gazing at the mountains....
We particularly liked the easy access to the town but also to the slopes. The house was well equipped.
We enjoyed good restaurants. And skiing was very close.
