"The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice with a breakfast consisting of Sicilian baked goods, coffee and brought in from a local bakery. We also had a small private terrace. Parking was secure and easy. We participated in an ecotour to see Mt. Etna. The tour picked us up at the hotel, which was very convenient."

"The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family."

"We stayed here the night before our trip up Mt Etna. It was an ideal location for an early start, 20-25mins from the cable car station. We arrived early the day before but were allowed to check into our room and had the entire place to ourselves so spent the afternoon sat by the pool. A few minutes drive from the town of Nicolos where we found great food and good vibes.

Alfredo at the reception was friendly very helpful and was there to assist in all queries and touring needs with his very personable nature. This was really a great professional asset. "This property exceeded every expectation and was by far the best property we stayed at during our ten day road trip in Sicily. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up staying two days rather than one. Frederica greeted us as we arrived and continued to provide friendly and hospitable service to us during our stay. She made us feel at home. The property is gorgeous: clean, comfortable, and relaxing. As first time travelers to Sicily, we felt safe and relaxed here. We will definitely come again. "

"We had a deeply disappointing experience at Zen Escape. Despite booking a Family Suite with 2 queen beds, we were given a smaller Deluxe Suite with only 1 bed and an unprepared sofa. Most concerning was discovering someone else’s dirty underwear tucked between the sheets—raising serious hygiene issues. When brought to management’s attention, we received no apology or explanation, only a denial and refusal to issue any refund for the downgrade or the incident. Avoid if you value cleanliness and basic customer care."
