"2 usesble bathrooms, not 4. Clean but lacking any comfort. One, twoseater sofa for 11 people, no other seating except dining chairs. The cupboards are full of someones effects, this lets the property down. The grounds were lovely but overgrown, balcony views obscured by plant growth, disappointing. The ground was wet all the time because grass was uncut. No hot tub, no spa. No sunbeds. Garden furniture very basic. No WiFi. We paid extra for sheets snd towels but these were very poor; dirty...

"Excellent location for all amenities. Pool was great to have a swim pre breakfast and post day out discovering the area. The house was clean and tidy, everything was provided for a comfortable self catering holiday. Enjoyed picking fresh figs from the garden, delicious! "This was a good option for a base when visiting the region. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, if a little strangely designed. A lack of sensible plug sockets (we had to boil the kettle on the floor!) and the water from the shower went everywhere because there is no shower tray - yet is not a wet room! We found parking stressful, we arrived late at night and found no spaces free thanks to inconsiderate parking from guests, the hotel would do well to mark acual spaces. We did squeeze our tiny car alongside the bins for overnight, and then after heading out early could not get a space at any other time during our stay. The night porter did help us at one point by explaining that the street parking would be ok overnight as long as we moved again by 8am. Given that we were on a three week road trip we had a very full car and this wasn't ideal. We would have liked to try the restaurant but couldn't as they seemed to stop serving earlier than advertised. We were told it was 'fully booked' at around 8pm despite lots of empty tables, we think they just didn't like that we hadn't pre booked. All in all this hotel was good enough and comfortable for a short stay and maybe better if you are less busy and have less luggage, but for us it just has a few fracture points that in all probability would not encourage us to stay again. The town is charming and we found good options for both breakfast and later dinners, just don't go out too late as the options dwindle."
