Superior Chalet, Lake View | Terrace/patio

"Host met us upon arrival and showed us the property. Property was spacious, well equipped and appointed for our party of five. The view from the deck is sensational and the surrounding countryside extremely peaceful. Great place to chill out for a few days and would recommend to anyone that enjoys a farmstay. Road to the property is quite steep and narrow, but the view and serenity is well worth it!"

"Eine herrliche Woche am See - Hitze war auf der schattigen Terrasse gut auszuhalten. Schöner Badeplatz mit dem Fahrrad oder in 3min mit dem Auto erreichbar, jeden Tag Baguette aus einer anderen Boulangerie getestet, Supermarkt und Fahrradverleih in der Nähe. Alles perfekt bis auf die Bad-/Toilettensituation. Eine kleine Toilette ohne Fenster, eine Minidusche an einem Schlafzimmer, ein größeres Bad mit Wanne auf Podest. Alles machbar, aber ungewöhnlich für eine ansonsten sehr schöne Fewo."

"We had a great couple of weeks, the house was lovely, the views are amazing. Allevard is a great town with plenty of choice of restaurants. WiFi in the house was a bit patchy in the bedrooms but the teenagers coped! Communications with Remi were easy and quick, we would definitely return and recommend"

"Liked the look of the hotel from the booking site reasonable price and location. Room was large , bed was comfy, location quiet and a good shower. Short walk to the lake where we luckily caught a bar for a beer before it closed it was Sunday afternoon. Eat in the restaurant next to the hotel which good although like the UK eating out in France is not the cheapest. Only issue we had was when a member of staff marched into our locked room without knocking. It was a bit embarrassing as I was about to shower. No apology until we raised it with the reception staff. But on the whole it was a good overnight stay. If you are heading north from here towards Calais and not in a busting hurry I would recommend the D road route towards Bourg-en-Bresse. Very pretty via beautiful gorges and cuts out some tolls and saves on back tracking into Chambery which was a bit of a mess to pick up the Autoroute."

"The hotel is great value for money, it is clean, while small the rooms have everything you need, the breakfast is really good and well priced and there is a parking, a rarity in and around Annecy! If you are travelling by car then this is for you. If you are not motorised then you might find the location to be a bit far from the centre (3km) but should be easy enough to access by bus. Overall, very happy with this one!"
