Andy and Lisa greeted us on arrival, showed us around and made it clear that they were always available if we needed something. Beds and chairs all very comfortable. Really nice property in an extremely peaceful location."

"As a family of 6 adults and 2 children we stayed here for just over a week in August 2025. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia - even 'STEVE' made an appearance.The only thing to note is that it is the 3rd bedroom (with double bed and bunks) that had the very low door, which makes it a bit awkward for adults,but we made it work.Overall we had a fab time and would love to return."

Christine is the perfect host in every way. Such a lovely tranquil place to relax and a beautiful area to explore. We cannot say enough good things about this property. "Returned to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary just for one night. Although rooms are quite basic in decoration, the chateau is incredible and the dinner was exceptional. We loved it and will definitely return again. "
