Les PAPILLONS : Beautiful Provencal villa with unimpeded views on Gourdon Valley

Les Papillons is a beautiful villa with breathtaking unimpeded views across the Gourdon valley and the Alpes-Maritimes mountains.  Situated at the end of a quiet, private cul-de-sac road, it is a short walk to the hilltop historic village of Le Bar-sur-Loup.  Following recent refurbishment, it offers a spacious and bright interior finished to a high specification featuring vintage and designer furnishings, with an extensive mature terraced garden filled with olive trees, lavender and bougainvillaea, leading to an expansive 11x6m pool, with a new state-of-the-art outdoor poolside kitchen & BBQ and new pool seating and dining areas, to give guests the perfect poolside alfresco cooking and dining experience under the sun and stars.

The villa has its own automatic electric gate, for secure parking inside for 2 cars.  There is air conditioning in all 4 Bedrooms and the Lounge/Dining area.  Throughout, you will discover original vintage and contemporary paintings that bring the Côte d'Azur alive.  In the Lounge/Dining area, new furnishings include a marble Florence Knoll credenza, marble Knoll Saarinen dining table, Kartell seating, Arc lamps and Foscarini lighting.  This complements vintage furnishings, including a French freestanding desk, allowing the room to adapt for office work.  The modern sleek Kitchen includes a breakfast bar and has all usual appliances. Even the kitchen overlooks the scenery, so you cannot escape those amazing views!

There is high speed fibre broadband internet and a high speed office laser jet printer.

There are 3 bathrooms and a hallway WC cloakroom, useful for visitors.  The 4 bedrooms (two with ensuites) are all spacious, light, have plenty of storage and are finished to a high standard with extremely comfortable beds.  The villa is over two levels, with the Master Bedroom on the upper level having a Queen size bed, Juliet balcony, freestanding mirror and luxurious Ensuite with walk-in shower, freestanding bath and plunge tap.  The lower level bedroom with King size bed can be more self-contained, with a small fridge, expresso machine, TV and a shower ensuite.  It opens directly through patio doors to the Lawned Terrace for morning coffee in peace and quiet.  The other two bedrooms share a contemporary bathroom with walk-in shower.

Bar-sur-Loup is an unpretentious and very picturesque mediaeval village, offering lovely walks, architecture and several acclaimed restaurants and within easy reach by car to renowned destinations such as Cannes, Antibes, Mougins, Valbonne, Grasse, Saint Paul de Vence and Gourdon, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France.  Les Papillons is under 40 mins by car from Nice airport
