Discover this spacious, 6-room family chalet with a garden, located in the heart of the picturesque ski resort of Laye. Perfect for a family holiday, it offers breathtaking views of the Champsaur Mountains. In winter, enjoy direct access to the ski slopes just 300 metres away. In summer, explore the hiking trails and the tree-top adventure park. Right across the street, a City Parc with a swing set, basketball court, bocce court, and tennis court awaits you.

The Accommodation
Ground Floor:
Come enjoy a bright and spacious stay, ideal for relaxing with family or friends. The open-concept living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting area, and a cosy dining room. For those who love cooking together, a raclette and pierrade grill are at your disposal. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove (3 gas burners and 1 electric burner), an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a washing machine, for maximum comfort.

There’s no shortage of entertainment, with a wide selection of games for all ages: tennis rackets, bocce balls, numerous board games, and even a piano for budding musicians. An additional bathroom and a separate toilet complete this floor.

You’ll have direct access to the patio, the garden, and the balcony. The terrace is furnished to accommodate up to 8 people with tables, garden chairs, and two umbrellas. Two lounge chairs are also available, which you can place as you like on the terrace or in the garden. Please note that the garden is not fenced, so extra supervision may be needed for young children.

First Floor:
Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms with double beds, as well as a children’s room equipped with bunk beds. This floor also includes a modern bathroom and a separate toilet.

Attic bedroom:
In the attic, a charming bedroom with two single beds awaits you. Please note that the staircase leading to this room is steep and has no railing. We recommend that you contact us if your children are under 8 years old.

Outdoors:
You’ll have access to a private outdoor parking space, with the option to park on the street or in the car park at the resort entrance.

Amenities and facilities:
Ample storage space is available in every room, making your stay more convenient. Upon request, we can provide a folding bed and a high chair for babies at no extra charge. Please note: There are unsecured steps in the living area.

Nearby
In winter:
The local ski resort is ideal for beginner skiers, offering breathtaking views. Two magic carpets serve a toboggan run, a beginner’s slope, and a snow park. With a single lift ticket, you can also access two other nearby resorts, Saint-Léger and Chaillol, for a variety of experiences. For those looking for larger resorts, Ancelle is just a 20-minute drive away, and Orcières-Merlette is 40 minutes away. The Col de Bayard, 10 minutes away, offers cross-country skiing and fat biking. There are many snowshoe hikes available directly from the resort or in the surrounding area.
We offer rentals of 4 pairs of snowshoes for your winter walks, at a rate of €10 per pair per stay.
A ski rental shop is also available on-site for your convenience.

In summer:
The resort is brimming with activities for all ages: swings, a multi-sport court (basketball and football), a tennis court, and a bocce court are located right across from the chalet. Thrill-seekers can enjoy the tree-top adventure course, a tactical zone (laser tag, airsoft, and paintball), and an escape room.
A 10-minute drive away, the Col Bayard offers a golf course, a fitness trail, dog-walking trails, fat biking, and a multisport stadium. The Saint Bonnet lake, 20 minutes away, is the perfect place to cool off with a supervised swim, a water slide, mini-golf, pedal boats, trampolines, a bouncy castle, and water activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, and tubing. Barbecue areas are also available, and there’s a restaurant on site.

Hiking:
From the resort, several hiking trails will lead you to peaks such as Pic de Gleize, Pic de Costebelle, or Notre-Dame-de-Bois-Vert. Other hikes are possible in the surrounding area; feel free to ask us for personalised recommendations. IGN maps, “Guides Verts,” and tourist brochures are available to help you plan your excursions.

Shopping:
For your shopping needs, the “dépanneur” at the Maison de l’Aiguille, located in the resort, offers everyday essentials, fresh sourdough bread daily, and croissants on weekends during the season.
A 10-minute drive away, you’ll find an Intermarché and a Carrefour Market in La Fare, as well as a farmers’ market in Saint-Bonnet every Monday and Thursday.
