Great time at Notestone Cabin
We had a great time at Notestone Cabin for a getaway weekend with our family. The Cabin was very clean, very well stocked in the kitchen., and lots of nice amenities. The kids Loved the game room, hot tub was great, and we enjoyed evenings around the fire pit.
Great place to stay!
I had a fantastic at the woodlands this last weekend to celebrate my birthday! The area was secluded enough to feel at ease in nature and the amenities made sure when we was done roaming about, that we could relax and have a good time! Overall highly recommend!
Our family's mini-vaca was great at the Notestone Cabin! View out the back windows was breathtaking! Plenty of room and accommodations for our group of 12... located close to all attractions and restaurants we visited! A great time was had by all!
Owners went over and above on this beautiful rental!
Gorgeous spacious floor plan in this cabin retreat! Would highly recommend and we plan to return! No shortage of things to do both inside and out! Go hiking have a bonfire or stay in for some ping pong or basketball!
The family enjoyed their time at the cabin very much. The game room was GREAT! We enjoyed the hot tub as well.Very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well supplied and loved the 12 person table, so we all got to eat together. Would stay here again!!
4 adults and 4 kids… plenty of space for all. Kids loved the downstairs game area. Everyone enjoyed the bonfire, hot tub, and the overall ambience. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!!
The property was perfect for our families. Our age ranges started at age 4 to 77 and there was something for everyone to do. The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking the beautiful surroundings! We will be back!!.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The stairs to the level upstairs are dangerously steep so be extremely careful. The game room was a blast and the host is Sooooo Sweet and kind. I will definitely be back. The fire pit was a blast and being surrounded in all of the beautiful nature was completely healing and refreshing. Thank you guys so much for having us in this beautiful space. Very family friendly.
Set in a beautiful, private location including both activities for inside and outside. Well stocked with what you may need; decor is super cute and found it to be very clean; inquiries to our host were replied to quickly; can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here. It was a perfect place to re-energize after a day of hiking this gorgeous area. Loved their mission of giving back to community. I'd recommend a visit without hesitation.
Property was very clean and cozy. Owners responded quickly when I contacted them. Everything we needed was provided, except for the small things we would want personally.
I very much would recommend staying here and would again.
We had a great time! Our kids spent most of their time in the basement/ game room. House is spacious and secluded! The only down fall we had was that the beds were not comfortable at all.
For my son’s 16th birthday he wanted to stay in a cabin with a few friends. This cabin was perfect. My son and his friends so much to do! My son enjoyed the ping pong, basketball, and darts! I would definitely recommend this place for someone with teens!!
We had a great time at the cabin. Our kids loved playing games in the basement and the bunk beds. The owners are very quick to respond and communicate clearly. The only downside is that the drive up to the cabin is about a 2.5 mile one lane road. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the Hocking Hills Visitor center. But it is nice and secluded for a getaway in the woods.
We loved our stay and would love to come back. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, the seclusion, and the entire house. We really appreciated the satellite tv as we watched a lot of sports (Go Ducks) and didn’t have to miss a game. We had some trouble with the downstairs tv on the right as it was quite sluggish with the satellite tv and internet. The kitchen was also really well stocked and helped make it easy to serve Thanksgiving dinner.
We had a multigenerational gathering ranging from baby, toddler, college-age, parents, and grandparents. There was something for everyone including first floor bedrooms, a sleep in cave for the late risers, and what felt like a treehouse on the top floor. Beautiful decks for coffee and multiple Hangout spots. Best of all, there was a big enough table for all of us to eat family meals. Super close to hiking attractions, beautiful road to take a meander along, highly recommend! Also, they were very generous with the supplies that they provided, and the shampoo and conditioner was so nice!
Overall we enjoyed our stay! The house amenities were plenty, between the kitchen supplies and lots of towels and comfy beds. The inside of the home was nice and clean and the basement “arcade” was lots of fun for all. We were also a quick 20 minute ride to all hocking hills attractions. (Although a truck or SUV is recommended as the roads to this place wouldn’t be good for a low-profile car).) We were a bit disappointed to find the septic system so close to the house, the property itself had the smell of sewage, and the one day it was windy we found ourselves covering our noses by the fire pit. The hot tub also could have used attention, the water looked green and the inside felt slimy, so most of us stayed clear of getting in. Aside from those two “cons,” we enjoyed our stay! 7.5/10 stars.
The house was lovely! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary pots/pans, plates, etc. There was plenty of beds and room to spread out. The game room was wonderful, but the tvs/remotes were a little complicated to figure out. The hot tub was as to be expected, but would be nice if chemicals were accessible to guests if they need to be adjusted. One issue we had was with the gas grill. There were no tools to clean the grill, and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Fortunately we were prepared to deal with the grease flames, but i think it was a safety hazard. All in all it was a lovely stay and would recommend the property ! Nature, relaxation, and we were even able to add a private chef for a night. Good times!!
