Prancing Doe is 1 of 4 cabins (Friendly Fawn, Button Buck, Trophy Buck) that are perfect for small groups or romantic getaways, when booked alone! Or... If you are looking for the perfect alternative for family and friends that enjoy each other's company by day but the privacy of their own space at night, then booking all 4 cabins at Whitetail Ridge will give you just that! The entire property can accommodate up to 20 guests. This is the perfect spot for family fun or romantic evenings, stargazing in the private hot tubs, snuggling in front of the fireplace, or a place where your mind, body, and soul will relax and become one with nature. This spacious property is an ideal place for a relaxing couple’s getaway, or an adventure filled family vacation. We offer one and two bedroom cabins in a wooded setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Hocking Hills. Friendly Fawn and Button Buck each have one bedroom with queen bed and a sleeper sofa accommodating up to 4 guests. Prancing Doe and Trophy Buck each have 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a sleeper sofa accommodating up to 6 guests. Trophy Buck has a finished basement/party room that can be accessed via a spiral staircase from the 1st floor or from the outdoor patio. The party room has a foosball table, bar, electronic dart board, and an excellent sound system. Each cabin has a private hot tub, satellite TV, free WIFI, fire ring and a charcoal grill. Whitetail Ridge Cabins may be reserved individually or combined to accommodate up to 20 guests. Old Mans's Cave and Hocking Hills State Park are a short 8-mile drive through the rolling hills. Hocking Hills Canopy Tours is easily reached 13 miles away. For those who don't want to leave the property, there is a catch and release fishing pond on the property and The Blue Moon Acres Horseback Riding Center is located just across the road.

Perfect for our weekend away!

This play was cozy and well located! It rained most of the time we were there but the cabin was warm and kept us close to play games, and use the hot tub a few times even!

Great stay!!

My husband and two nephews stayed and loved being there. It was clean and everything worked and enjoyed being away from the city. We will definitely come back for a longer stay next time.

Great place for weekend trip!

It was very easy to check in! Very clean and roomy for all 5 of us. We spent the day hiking at old man’s cave which was just a 15-20 minute drive. It is close to some great restaurants and Walmart to get stuff for the weekend. Great weekend trip away!

Girls trip

This was a last minute girls trip that we planned t. We wanted to hike at Hocking Hills. It was a cut cozy cabin. We spent the day hiking and it was nice coming back to a hot tub to sit in.

Great location

We enjoyed the cabin and our stay, and will consider this location in the future when we come back. The additional cabins here are located closely together, but still offer privacy and your own space for campfires and a private hot tub. I will say that the hot tub was much larger than it appeared in the photos. Our host Angie was very nice and pleasant to communicate with, she answered all of our questions, and mad sure our stay was amazing.

The property was just as listed!! Very clean, quiet and overall peaceful!!! The hot tub was AMAZING!!! The owners responded right away!! There were no issues here whatsoever!! The store was about 13 minutes away, so that was pretty cool. I’d definitely stay here again!!!

Very nice

Very comfortable property, just needed to suck up the Asian beetles. Commode was toddler size Lol! Back deck steps down to the hot tub were slippery. But overall very well stocked, and a beautiful view of the trees and pond.Its was one of the nicer ones we have stayed in.

Great Place in the Hills!

Loved the stay. Simple, nice little cabin with everything you need. Comfortable bed, watched some football on the tv, nice hot water and good water pressure for shower. Hot tub topped it off. Used it every evening! I would recommend some grip tape on the stairs down to the hot tub though. It had been raining so the deck was wet and I slipped on the last stair and broke my pinky toe hahaha. Was a great time, I recommend!

Perfect waterfall location

I didn't realize just how far from "town" this cabin was. No big deal we made sure to make ours trips to town worthwhile. It was perfectly located for the waterfall's and hiking though, which was why we came. Inside of the cabin was very nice and clean. The back deck could uae a bit of a cleaning, but being deep in the woods that's to be expected. No issues and I would stay again and recommend.

Very nice cabin

Cute little cabin in the woods. About 10mins from Hocking hills. Love that they had lots of towels for the shower and hot tub (which was excellent and clean). Shower was a bit small for my 6'4" husband but that isn't an uncommon! A.C. worked great and they had everything we needed to cook dinner for 3 of our nights there.

Family Vacation

The location was private but still close enough to all of the great hiking spots and Logan. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. We were very happy with our stay.

Wife Weekend Getaway

We loved the cabin and the scenery! Everything was easy to access. We also enjoyed waking up to the sound of horses every morning. All in all it was peaceful and we had a great time!

Descent cabin for a short getaway.

Overall it was good. I didn’t realize there were other cabins close by. I thought it would have been more secluded. In addition, I think the cabin should have ant traps, fly swatter and small plug in night lights for the rooms. Especially if there are small kids staying to help them see at night in the bedroom or walking to the bathroom. Also, the binder needs updated.

My birthday weekend at Prancing Doe was peaceful. The cabin was cozy and clean. It was a perfect sized space for two friends escaping the demands of life for a few days.

Mother's Day Stay

Love the location. The rental is well maintained and so is the property. I would enjoy a later check out. Maybe 11 am instead of 10 am.
