Ohio Country Cabin LLC is located in a secluded, peaceful wooded setting in the heart of Hocking Hills close to Oldman Cave.It combines the privacy and beauty of a woodland paradise with the comforts and amenities of home. This warm and inviting natural setting is perfect for romantic getaways or fun family vacations.

Our log cabin sleeps 4 and has everything you'll need to feel at home. Enjoy the serenity of bird watching, whitetail deer, other abundant wildlife and star gazing just by glancing out the window or walking out the cabin door! Country Cabin is just minutes from Lake Logan and only 9 miles from Old Man's Cave, with easy access to all the state parks, restaurants, shopping, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, canopy tours and many other outdoor activities. Country Cabin is privately owned and operated and the cabin has that extra touch to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.
For your safety we have 2 outside surveillance cameras installed. One on the right out side of cabin and second installed outside on the tree in front yard both facing driveways of the cabin.

Great and cozy place

The cabin is super comfortable and in a really peaceful location. You can tell that everything there is nicely taken care of. The host also gave clear directions for everything before check-in.

2024 Hocking Hills Trip

The property was as described, very secluded and quiet. Kitchen was small but we prepared all meals ahead of our trip and used the outdoor grill for cooking. Was nice to be able to fish on the property.

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We had a lovely time at this cabin. It was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. The decor added an extra touch. While there is no cell signal there, the WIFI worked great. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. Thank you!

All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Note to next person, when coming to this house, come in the daylight. It was very private and secluded and had everything we needed.

Nice location

We liked the location, being close to Hocking Hills State Park. The pond is nice. I fished. My wife read books by the fire pit. The cabin itself was fine. We have stayed in nicer VRBO properties and worse ones. It worked for our purposes.

Very nice property neat and clean would stay again. Only problem no stove it needs to have a one burner that you can plug in electric. The electric skillet was notworking for us. Beautiful place and very quiet

Cute cabin off the beaten psth

We spent 2 nights at this cabin. The description is accurate. Yes, the kitchen is small. We only used the toaster and microwave. The downstairs is cozy but enough space for four of us. We loved the massage chair. The bedrooms had planty of room. We enjoyed the pedal boat and did some fishing. It was about 25 minutes from Logan. It was conveniently located for hiking which is what we were there for. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions about the cable. I'd recommend bringing a map of the area because GPS does not work well within a few miles of the cabin..

Nice, comfortable cabin near everything

We really liked our stay at this cabin. It was perfect for a three-night stay! The cabin is close to all the hot spots in the Hocking Hills area and not too far from Logan, where you can find good food, groceries, coffee, etc. We especially liked the fire pit and utilized it every night. I was actually really surprised that the mosquitos were not a problem being so close to the pond. The weather was great for hanging outside well into the evening. However, I could see noise being an issue if you have inconsiderate neighbors. Sound seemed to echo from across the pond. We could hear everything our neighbors said even though they were talking quietly. It wasn't that big of a deal. And on Friday night (our last night there), someone drove their ATV around the area, which was rather loud. They stopped before we were ready to go to bed. But, I'm sure that it really depends on who is renting the cabins near you. Having access to so many options on the tv was nice, too! We were able to wind down in the evening with just about anything we wanted to watch. The only real issue was the lack of kitchen amenities. We read the reviews beforehand and were ready for the lack of a proper stove. Breakfast was the only issue we had in the kitchen. We enjoy a good bacon/eggs/toast breakfast when we go on a trip like this. It just wasn't possible in this kitchen. But, we had some good microwave-only meals. Overall, this was a great cabin and a really nice trip to the Hocking Hills area.
