I booked a room at the Nobu Hotel. When I got there to check in, I was told that I had been moved to the lower end Caesars Palace. If I had wanted to stay there, I would have booked a room there... it’s not a VIP Access hotel either. I did not receive any sort of compensation even though I paid a higher room rate to stay at the superior Nobu Hotel. When checking in at Caesars Palace, I asked if I was going to receive an upgrade to help compensate me for the difference in room rates, but all I got was a standard room... terrible experience overall. The room itself was ok, but half the lights didn’t work and the tv in the bathroom was broken as well as the hair dryer.

I arrived quite late in the evening. The check in is inside Caesars so one has to go through part of the casino to find it. The signage is poor. My first room was next to an ice machine that was dreadfully loud. When I got in the room (second time), it was large and nicely appointed. The television did not work properly, i couldnt connect to the wifi and i sat on hold for 15 minutes waiting to speam to room service before giving up. Yhere is too much competition in Las Vegas to have this many things go wrong. Nobu isn't worth a return for me.

We stayed in Room 7403 for approximately 3 nights, on the very first night we complained to management of a vile sewage odor coming seemingly through the vents. Management said they would send “maintenance and management” to investigate-no show. Day 2, room was cleaned odor appeared to have gone away until late afternoon early evening. As we returned from a late lunch we open our door and the smell of sewage/feces/human waste returned. Luckily house keeping was outside the door and I asked the very nice woman if she could smell the odor? She apologized repeatedly as if it was her fault- which it was not. She was kind enough to spray deodorizer on the carpet (photos attached) which seemed to mask the smell temporarily, nothing like a commercial fabreeze and fecal smell. Again, complained to management they offered us a dining credit-we declined (not looking for anything for free). Day 3- complained again that the smell returned, this time management did come up, we didn’t catch her name though she was nice I asked her if she smelled the aroma and she looked to the restroom as if someone had recently visited it....I said take a look housekeeping just left and we had just gotten back from lunch/football. Again a food/credit was offered, we declined. What we would have liked was to be moved to a different room, not an upgrade just one that didn’t smell like an outhouse. Anyone who considers staying here try to avoid 7403 & 7401 (7401 family member stayed in and was moved).

Great hotel. Staff was very polite and accommodating. Spacious room with great amenities, plus having a pool table inside was not too bad either. Highly recommend, would definitely come back. Thanks, had a great stay!
