The resort staff were incredible. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. The resort itself was very well maintained and the common areas and the beach were beautiful. The only problem with those common areas were the smoke detectors that beeped nonstop throughout our trip. We didn’t spend time in the main building because of the sound. The quality of the food was also a bummer. A lot of the food at the buffets and restaurants was either bland or dried out. We ended up buying VIP passes to their other hotel (the bougainvillea-adults only) and really loved their buffets and restaurants. So it all worked out pretty well.

From the moment you arrive, through your stay and even when you checkout, you feel welcomed and treated like your family. Rooms were spotless, pools beautiful and well maintained, beach was very clean and beautifully lit at night. All of the staff were amazing and welcoming. From the room cleaning staff, to the bar staff, to reception staff, even the bell hoppers were great. Special shout out to Francis, Maria, Vicente, Nelson, Patricia, Bryan Bomba and Alvaro for making our stay a once in a lifetime experience. Definitely one for the books.
