Wonderful stay!

My husband and I and a great stay at the Design Plus Bex Hotel. Very comfortable room and lovely bathroom and we enjoyed the breakfast in the old Vault. Will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel and great location

Great hotel, coulnt find a fault, our room was clean everyday, fresh towels daily, breakfast nice with lots lf options, staff so polite and helpful. Definitely going back! Oh! and the location, it could be better, walking distance to the Mercado del Puerto, plaza de Santa Catalina, bus station, and playa de la cantera, plenty of good restaurants around. Great location!! 5 out of 5 for this hotel!!!

Well located & very comfortable, stylish hotel

We were very happy with our choice of hotel, both in terms of proximity to the city centre’s attractions as well as the Playa las Canteras, and for its standard of accommodation & service. Our room was spacious with an excellent shower, plenty of wardrobe space & a large, comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly & professional; we particularly loved the 12th floor rooftop bar- wonderful panoramic views & two attractive areas to sit.

Rooms good size, top floor terrace was super relaxing place to sit and read with a bar , pool was really just a large jacuzzi- very poorly portrays on web site , great location, tv services poor shower excellent

Hotel need more comfort not a design

Reception was unpleasant, we had a problem with a parking lot , cleaning room was very bad , I would not recommend this hotel for long vacation stay, max 1 day. Beds were uncomfortable, we had to move our mattresses down the floor because all the bed was moving while you want to turn around.

Sommarsäsongen

Överlag var vi nöjda med vår vistelse, främst tack vare hotellets läge. Däremot vill vi inte rekommendera detta hotell till den som söker lugn och ro – särskilt inte under sommarsäsongen. Under vår vistelse tog hotellet emot över 90 ungdomar med ledare, vilket skapade rena kaoset i matsalen vid frukosten. Det var extremt högljutt, långa köer och lokalen i sig var alldeles för liten för att hantera så många gäster samtidigt. Som gäst tvingades man välja mellan att äta i kaos eller vänta tills ungdomsgrupperna hade ätit klart. Frukosten var dessutom ganska snål. När vi frågade om det fick vi svaret att det berodde på den stora gruppen ungdomar – något vi tycker är en dålig ursäkt. Frukostutbudet bör vara konsekvent oavsett antalet gäster. Poolen var kall oavsett hur varmt det var ute. En viss personal var dessutom oengagerad och till och med irriterad när man ställde frågor. Det som lyfte upplevelsen var servitriserna i matsalen och receptionisten Veronica – alla tre var fantastiska! Vänliga, tillmötesgående och hjälpsamma. Vi valde därför att vänta in deras arbetspass när vi behövde hjälp.

Dårlige toilet forhold

Vi vidste ikke vi skulle bruge pas for at tjekke ind, så det var lige før vi skulle tage hjem igen. Toilettet på værelset kunne ikke låses og vægen der ud til var bare matteret glas man kun se igennem, der var absolut ingen privat liv der. Selvom vi er et par, har vi ikke lyst til at følge med i hinandens toilet besøg!

Property is very nice and clean. Room is a decent size. The location is superb. It's a 5-10 min walk to beach and also a 5 min walk to a main bus station which is the start of the line for many buses which serve different parts of the island. Plenty of great restaurants in close proximity to the hotel too!
