"Beautiful location, but it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor area, late March. Still it's a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean. They gift shop was reasonably priced for a hotel gift shop. Now to a couple of notes that might help. These in no way reflect negatively on the staff. They were wonderful. We had the room next to the Ice/Vending machines, and that was really noisy from 9-11pm when people were getting ice and pop. The second night I used ear plugs and my husband put pillows by the door to block noise and light, it helped immensely. The beds are not soft. So if you are used to firm beds, you're in luck. If you are used to memory foam. Not so much. And down pillows! Who still uses down pillows?! They were very uncomfortable. Lastly, don't forget shampoo or conditioner. I did and the shampoo/conditioner combo wreaked havoc on my hair. "

"Beautiful, clean home right on the water. We saw ships go by and also watched surfers while snuggled up by the fireplace. We enjoyed the sound of waves day and night! The host was very responsive. Great stay! "

"Our weekend snowmobile trip in Two Harbors. Superior Shores was perfect for our group. The condo was very nice, well appointed, and a great location. The only issue was the elevator was down the entire weekend and of course we were on the top floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed are stay, the views and the outdoor hot tub. A shout out to the book club ladies!"

"Everything about our weekend at this beautiful cottage went above and beyond our expectations. The Johnstons were incredibly kind and caring and made the check-in and check-out process a breeze. The home was clean, warm, and inviting. From the numerous cozy and comfortable beds, to the luxurious sauna, our family enjoyed every part. There was truly something for every age: memories in the snow and on the swing set with the kids, games and puzzles, and stocked coffee bar, to name a few. With the close proximity to Duluth, we were able to go out on a few excursions and still have plenty of time together at the cottage. Thank you to the Johnstons for sharing this little slice heaven!"
